3. Educational institutions have a responsibility to dissuade students from pursuing fields of study in which they are unlikely to succeed.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.



In this day and age,as a result of more social emphasis putting on education development,there is a growing awareness that adolescents should be circumspect on selecting appropriate studying fields.Indeed there is an increasingly controversial issue that whether educational institutions bear the obligations to persuade them to pursue the directions which is of high possibility for them to thrive.In fact,each direction have possession of its own meaning.As a consequence,it is my contention that adolescents should pave their own paths to thrive in light of interest,goal,family economic condition and so forth.

In the first place,the threshold matter inherent in this issue is that no individual,education organization,or even Government is able to aptly define what is 'the field that is unlikely to succeed'.To clarify,some fields of research remains only unlikely to archive great success on the surface,however,researchers ultimately triumph in his or her career.As an illustration,some winners of the prestigious Nobel Prize have at first made people laugh,but eventually convinced them to retrospect.Last' year Noble Prize for Medicine,for example,went to those who discovered the symptoms of asthma,and advocated taking a roller-coaster ride as treatment.Although perhaps excessive,this particular example educates us that individuals can make a difference in particular fields.Another striking illustration evolves Liu Xiang,one of the most successful athletes in China.Once at his early age,his instructor encouraged him to change his profession from 110 meters hurdles to 100 meters running for the reason that athletes tended to be more promising at that time.Nevertheless,Liu Xiang
'adherence to 110 meters hurdles lead to his championship on the stage in 2008 Olympic Games.


Admittedly,there is no scaping fact that everyone shoulder his or her own obligation to control and direct his own learning.Obliviously,diverse goals makes diverse directions.To be specific,someone is eager to attain the respects from the world;someone is aspiring to satisfy his appetite for seeking knowledge;someone is even purely pursuing high salary.Hence,educational organizations shoulder the responsibility to server different interestedness.Similarly,if no one participates the fields that is alleged 'unlikely to succeed',we human beings undeniably suffer from a irreparable loss.Consider,for example,if researches on history came into a halt,human could never understand and inherit those significant cultural and material heritages from our ancestors,which inevitably undermine civilized advancement of humanity.

Nonetheless,to overlook the fact that education virtually keeps expensive is unwise.Specifically,juveniles particularly from less wealthier communities should seriously take consideration into intellectual inquiries with high rates of employment as well as lucrative development.To illustrate,in China,hundreds of thousands graduates compete for only one vacancy ever year.Indeed,the cruel fact force other juveniles to consider potentially promising feasibility apart from both interest and personal values.On the other hand,few would dispute that it is the graduates with high salary and increasing employment rates that contribute fame and fortune to educational organizations because those graduates tend to patronize more on the establishment in university and college.Accordingly,these organizations could benefit more from them,which conduce them to improve educational standards such as sources of teachers and educating equipment.

To put it in a nutshell,educators ought to provide essential suggestions and directions to contemporary adolescents based on the different personal condition instead of dissuading them from fields in which they perhaps encounter failure.
