Dr. Chuan Yue (http://inside.mines.edu/~chuanyue) in the EECS department at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM: http://eecs.mines.edu) is recruiting PhD students (Spring/Fall 2016) with full financial support including monthly stipend, tuition, and health insurance.

Dr. Chuan Yue’s current research focuses on Web, Cloud, Mobile, and Cyber Physical Systems Security and Privacy.  His research group investigates cyber security & privacy from the perspectives of both systems and humans, and actively collaborates with researchers in other EECS areas and other disciplines.  Dr. Chuan Yue is a very responsible person, and he tries his best to help students to be successful in school and beyond.

Colorado is one of the best states to live in U.S.  CSM is a national research university located in Golden, Colorado along the foothills of the beautiful Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, with over 300 days per year of sunshine.  The School is within easy driving distance of Rocky Mountain National Park as well as some of the world’s finest ski slopes, hiking, backpacking, mountain and road biking, and classic rock climbing crags.  Located only 20 minutes away is metropolitan Denver, a social, cultural, and business hub which offers all the attractions of a major city.

A GRE (Quantitative section) score of 151 or higher (or 650 on the old scale) and a TOEFL score of 79 or higher (or 550 for the paper-based test or 213 for the computer-based test) are expected.
