Position: 同意影响一说，但不能说决定。

1. 1.确实影响了很多风俗习惯和道德伦理

比如我们习惯和网友聊天通过MSN而很少letter。对于安乐死euthanasia的态度有了变化）

2. 2.不能决定风俗习惯，影响因素很多。

E.G过节的形式变了，我们从社会风俗里获得文化的认同感
但是习俗本身代表社会意义没变。比如中国的春节，端午节（the Dragon Boat Festival）纪念屈原的意义不会变

3.不能决定道德伦理

E.G.道德伦理(moral and ethic)作为一个社会的是非准绳(judgment of right or wrong)不会只因为科技发展而决定。比如：尊老爱幼不会改变，偷盗行为的性质不会改变

With the accelerated development of science and technologies, they affect every aspect of our daily life more than any other time in the history. I partly consent to the issue as I believe that technologies influence the social customs and ethics indeed. However, since many other factors such as human nature also impact the customs and ethics, the claim that technologies determine them is ill-considered in many cases.(开头简明精炼）
It is undeniable that science and technologies change a lot of customs and morality through the process they enter into our everyday lives. For example, in China, our parents communicated with each other mainly depending on letters and post offices just several decades ago while today teenagers prefer to MSN or E-mail to contact with their friends and family. Obviously the dream of faster communication realized thanks to the high-tech such as computers and Internet. Meanwhile, some ethics is altered as the technologies actually influence the way we think and judge. The controversy about the euthanasia is proceeding all the time. We have accepted it gradually with more technologies appearing to contribute to a cosy death for the patients who suffer from diseases a lot.（这个例子用的似乎不太妥，是因为科技提供了更舒适的方法我们才逐渐接受它的吗？）
Consequently, as the technologies are applied to our lives and minds day by day, its influence on social customs and ethics seems unstoppable.（总结的很好）
Nonetheless, the technologies will never be the only element which affects the social customs so we are not be able to claim that the technologies determine the tradition. It is human nature to gain a cultural identity from the social customs and this human nature changes little as the science develops. Take the Spring Festival in China as an example. Admittedly that the technologies such as automobiles, Internet affect the way Chinese people celebrate the festival, but the meaning behind the celebration is never changed. That is an identity of Chinese culture and the desire for a lucky year. Another forceful instance is the Thanksgiving Day in America. Perhaps no one celebrates it simply for the delicious turkey. It is the thanks to God, the thanks to life, the thanks to the family which spur us to memorize the day. That is never changed.
What's more, it is as hard as, sometimes even harder, for the technologies to determine the moral and ethics since the other factors which influence the ethics seem more unchangeable. The basic moral regulations seem never altered in different social brackets over thousands of years. For instance, the artists who lived in Italy in the Renaissance considered the stealing as a crime as well as the golden-collars who work in the Wall Street today. What's more, respecting the elders as well as looking after the youngsters is always a virtue to be praised in every country and every historic period. These kinds of ethic have been rooted in the human beings' blood and bones regardless of the development of technologis. （这一段的例子用的非常精彩）
including those in traditions and morality brought by the technologies since they create a modern way we think about and judge things. Therefore no one can deny that the technologies affect the social customs and ethics. But at the same time, we should evaluate the effect of technologies objectively and realize that they cannot determine the ethics and customs no matter now or in the future. （很精彩的文章，水平有限，只能改到这了）
