93) Unfortunately, in contemporary society, creating an appealing image has become more important than the reality or truth behind that image.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

原题：93) Unfortunately, in contemporary society, creating an appealing image has become more important than the reality or truth behind that image.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

我的思路：一边倒论述内在依然是很重要的，列举从商品到人际交往等多方面。

讨论后的思路：按image和reality是否可以区分开来分别论述。1，image和reality可区分时，如除去花哨，只留核心内容的no frills生活方式；2，image和reality为统一整体，不可区分时，举例conspicuous consumption，如买luxury goods就是给别人看的；3，image和reality为统一整体，不可区分时，再举例在interpersonal relation中，人的外表和内在不能区分开，如很多时候可以判断肥胖的人obesity是因为生活方式有问题，化妆的人make up在意别人对自己的评价；smiling代表态度亲切等。

规律和方法：可以写一边倒，但需要在每一个中间段里讲清楚一个道理。

我尝试写一下

People are tend to be attracted by arresting images since we are animals of vision. This fact has influenced so many aspects of our life leading to a question that whether these images overshadow the reality or truth behind them. To tackle with this question, we should discern the different usage of these images between sending persuasive messages and directly revealing the truth itself.

Images as a powerful promotion tool has been widely utilized by advertisement industry considering the relatively common, tepid descriptions of products properties. 消费者们对产品属性已经很熟悉，图像是吸引他们做出选择的好办法。图像也能传递品牌的理念，这是用realistic的陈述方式无法做到的。如果广告都像说明书一样，大家就不会被影响。

It is also of significant importance to involve lifesome images in pedagogical works.尽管学生们需要学习的都是facts&reality，但是任务繁重容易产生厌倦和消化不良。图像是激发他们兴趣和帮助他们吸收的最好办法。举个看动物世界学生物的例子好了。

Though images creation is a effective way to convey information, we should not gloss over the significance of reality or let the implication of images blind our vision of reality. 科学研究里，真理是唯一响亮的声音。不过形式多么丰富，过程多么精彩，没有得到有助于科学进步的实质性进步都是没有意义的。

It is the expressing way of which image creation is one that examined by public, students’or other recipients but when it comes to the truth or reality, only time could test. We should enhance our ability to create images make information more effective without any hesitation that staying away from the belief of truth.

楼主你确定你的那个提纲你自己能够写出全文来吗？
因为我自己感受是写提纲的时候会产生一种自己想到一个点就ok的幻觉，所以每个点写的点到为止，然后真正动笔了发现写不出来。。。
