前几天UW给我发了个CS的AD，master的，录取的校区是Tacoma Campus，原帖传送门：https://bbs.gter.net/thread-1331201-1-6.html

因为之前对UW了解不是太深，只是知道其CS专业很牛，可是被录取到的这个Campus自己不熟悉，所以发帖问了这个校区的状况，在第二页有筒子很详细地给了我答复。
因为UW Seatle和UW Tacoma都提供master program，所以我怀着忐忑的心情（真TM怕申请错了啊）给给我发AD的Officer发了个Email询问这两个校区的区别，回复如下：

Seattle's program is different from ours in that their's is a doctoral track program (they also have a professional master's). They are highly competitive and accept about 10% of their applicants. When you log in to apply to the Graduate School, you get a drop down menu of programs. The Seattle program is listed below Tacoma's and they have a December deadline. More information below.

也就是说Seatle Campus提供PhD（大牛集中地）和Professional Master's Degree，而Tacoma提供Master‘s Degree。如果是选择Full-time Master Program的话，就只有Tacoma校区有提供。至此我心里的大石才放下...

lz你确实申错了吧。。。UW Tacoma跟UMN Duluth这种我不觉得有什么区别啊，都是另外一个分校，和Seattle明显不是一套faculty

即便如此去了UWashington 不是seattle的校区还是觉得不太对劲不舒服啊...

可是都是从同一个学校网页上这么申请的，暂时只是校区的不同吧，还不是分校的程度吧？

楼主我也收到tacoma的CS&System AD了可我在CSnews上看到的排名特高的那个指的是UW的CS&Engineering（在seattle）
觉得这两个校区不是一回事啊...我问的另一个帖子里（https://bbs.gter.net/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=1342337&highlight=）人家说tacoma的是CS的主力校区
现在真心很混乱啊可别去了野鸡大学...

两个是不同的学校，但是具体项目怎么样就不知道了。

The biggest differences between campuses are location and size. All campuses are the University of Washington and have the same academic standards. UW Tacoma is located in downtown Tacoma and has around 3600 students. UW Seattle is located in Seattle and has over 40,000 students. Each campus has separate degree programs and each campus admits separately. The UW campuses share some resources. For example, the library system is connected between all University of Washington campuses.
