Dear All,
不知道大家都网申到哪个阶段了呢!?
我还在检查中,不敢这么早submit,以免出错,
我现在正联系老师寄送推荐信,从网申介绍里看,目前只有推荐信、表是需要寄送以外,
其他如成绩单,奖状什么的是只需upload photocopy就好,收到offer之后再寄送原件的哦!
所以现在正苦恼文件太大,要处理后才能upload上去。~~一起加油~~!大家也分享下进度吧!

1. Application Period
Applicants please visit http://gs.hkbu.edu.hk/prospectiv ... dy_mode_period_fee/ for up-to-date information about the Application Period and Tuition Fees of the programmes.
2. Documents to be Submitted Together with the Application
(a) Photocopies
- For local applicants: HKID card
- For non-local students*: passport or other identity document of home country
- Degree certificate(s)/graduation diploma(s) AND transcript(s) for the academic qualification(s)
- Open Test Results (e.g. CET, GMAT, GRE, IELTS, MCIL, TEM, TOEFL)
- Public Examination Results (e.g. HKCEE/HKALE)
- Certificate(s)/supporting document(s) of scholarship(s) and prize(s)
- Certificate(s) of professional qualification(s)
- Sample(s) of publication or research work/record of research experience/publication list
Note 1 - Upon receipt of the admission offer, applicants should arrange the FULL official transcript(s) to be sent directly from the original institution(s) to the University. These documents should bear all the academic records of their undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies to date.
Note 2 - HKBU graduates/students are exempted from submitting certificate(s) and transcript(s) for their previous/current studies in the University.
*Non-local applicants applying for part-time postgraduate courses should provide appropriate and valid visa to prove their eligibility to stay and study in Hong Kong.
(b) Confidential Recommendation Form (Not applicable to Postgraduate Diploma in Education applicants)
The two referees should be requested to complete and directly return the form to the Graduate School within two weeks from the date the applicants file their application.
Note - If applicants wish to provide supplementary documents, they should quote the application number on all pages.
Applicants may submit the documents by various means:
- go to the "Supporting Documents" section to upload the electronic copies;
- by fax to (852) 3411-5133;
- by post to the Graduate School (located at AAB904, Level 9, Academic and Administration Building, Baptist University Road Campus, Hong Kong Baptist University, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong);
- by email to gs@hkbu.edu.hk;
- in person to the above office during office hours or to the collection box outside the office from 08:00 to 21:00 daily.
Applicants who choose to submit the documents in the form of hard copies should mark their name and application number on all pages.
3. Application Fee: HK$300 (Non-refundable)
To complete the submission of an application, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of HK$300 for each online application. Otherwise the application will not be further processed. Please settle the fee by one of the following methods:
(a) through the BEA payment gateway. That is to pay on-line by credit card, either VISA or MASTER card; or
(b) using Octopus at the service counter of the Graduate School; or
(c) using the "Credit Card Payment Form"; or
(d) using the "HKD Account Deposit Form" obtainable at any branches of the Hang Seng Bank to deposit the fee to the University's account directly. The original receipt should be attached to the application form as proof of payment. Applicants are advised to keep a photocopy of the receipt for future reference.
(e) Applicants who are residing overseas at the time of application may also settle the application fee by bank draft or certified bank cheque made payable to "Hong Kong Baptist University".
Note - Applicants are reminded NOT to settle the payment by ATM transaction, cash or personal cheques.
4. Student Visa
The Hong Kong Immigration Department requires all full-time non-local students (from overseas or the Chinese Mainland) to obtain a student visa in order to study in Hong Kong. Applications should normally be made at least two months in advance. (Part-time non-local students should possess appropriate and valid visa to prove their eligibility to stay and study in Hong Kong.)
For applicants from the Chinese Mainland, the student visa applications should be submitted through the University. Applicants will be informed of the details once they are given an admission offer.
For applicants from overseas, they should make their own enquiries about the student visa requirements from the nearest Chinese diplomatic and consular missions in their place of domicile, or by writing directly to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong (Address: 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong). Applicants who have encountered difficulties in nominating a local visa sponsor may approach the Graduate School for assistance.

5. Application Acknowledgement
After the submission of the online application form, applicants will receive an application acknowledgement email from the system.
6. Change in Personal Particulars After Submission of Application
During the application period, applicants should report changes in personal particulars such as correspondence address, contact number(s), etc. to the Graduate School in writing immediately.
7. Notification of Results
Applicants who are selected for interview/written examination or are offered admission to a programme will receive an individual notification by email/phone.
If an admission offer is made, applicants must decide whether or not to accept the offer by a specified date. To accept the offer, applicants are required to pay an admission confirmation fee by a specified deadline.
During the application period, applicants can login the Online Application System to view the submitted data and check the application status. The application result will normally be released through the system before the commencement of classes.
