Issue 197
The material progress and well-being of one country are necessarily connected to the material progress and well-being of all other countries.

1．经济方面，不同国家互通有无，促进了各自的发展：发达国家的立场：发展中国家的立场
2．环境方面，环境问题没有国界限制，只有各个国家的环境都好了，单个国家才会变好
3．文化方面，得益于国家间的文化交流，精神生活水平才会丰富

With the process of globalization and the development of communication and transportation technology, all countries are closely related to each other. Thus, The material progress and well-being of one country depends on the material progress and well-being of all other countries.

Firstly, from the perspective of economy, all country are interrelated with each other via a universe global market. Because no one country is rich in all resources, such as raw material, work force, technology and so on, every country need import certain resources from other countries for production or for daily consumption and also export its own products to gain income that can be used to increase its social development.

On the one hand, developed countries such as America, Japan and some Europe countries relies developing countries as the market for its high-tech products and as material base. If those developing countries undergo social disturbance or economical depression, their consume level will decline and can not afford the high-tech products from developed countries. Consequently, the economy of developed countries may come to depression too, their material progress slows down and the rate of unemployment increases. Take Japan for example, as we all know, its ecomony is exportation-centered because its domestic market is rather small. Therefore, any economy disturbance in the world market will greatly affect its economy.

On the other hand, developing countries also benefit from the international economic relationship. For example, in many developing countries, most high-tech products, such as computer, television, video, comes from foreign countries. And they also introduce other country’s technology and capital to develop its own industry. And by selling their rich material to industrialized countries, they gain a large amount fo revenue which eventually can be used to promotes its material progress and social development. The best example is OPEC countries in Middle East. Though most of their land is dry and infertile desert that is not fit for agriculture, they are rich in petroleum. As the world’s largest oil exporter, these countries exchange their petroleum for food and water. Obviously their social development totally is determined by how much oil other countries will import.

Secondly, I will analysis in an environment view. As we all know, environment problem is a global question. It does not respect the boundary between countries. Because of the deforestation of the rain forest in South America, the whole world suffers the climate deteriorations. Another example is the decrease of ozone layer that allows ultravelvit sunrays to shine directly at people, causing an significant increase of skin cancer. Though the cause of these environmental problems may be attributed to other countries, the consequence is the same. Therefore, our quality of life is greatly affected by other countries. Only when the environment of all countries is improved, can we enjoy a better life.

Finally, due to the development of modern communication measures, there are active communication of movies, painting, movie and other various arts between different countries; thus the culture of one country is also connected to the outside world. For instance, people can watch movies from Hollywood, listen to folk songs of Africa and appreciate a Germany symphony. Obviously, the development of various arts in other countries has greatly enriched our spiritual life..

To sum up, we are nowadays living in a small Earth Village, which means that all countries as a whole create various material goods, and enjoy the prosperity together.
