The only responsibility of corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, is to make as much money as possible for their companies.
______________________________________________________
In today's market economy environment, many people hold that the only responsibility of corporate executives is to make money as much as possible for their companies, as long as they stay within the law. In my view, however, though to make money the main responsibility, they should also assume some social responsibility.

Admittedly, the overriding responsibility of the executives is to make money as much as they can, as long as they on no condition break the laws. The capitalist system is based on the profit motive. Shareholders, in the hope that their company will create fortune for them, hire executives to run their business. Hence, the corporative executive should make every effort to increase profit. If a company fails to create profit, to mention other responsibility is in vain. Survival is the prerequisite. Only through making profit, can a company survive. Then there exists the possibility of to company to thrive.

However, it is not the only responsibility for executive to make money, more business's social responsibility should be assumed for several reasons. First, corporate companies are members of a society. It is the society, or rather the market, foster the company, enable it to create profit and thrive. When the company makes a lot of money, it is responsible for it to pay back to the society. Second, doing contributions to the society can bring acknowledgement and reputation to the company. The reputation then may in its turn add to the profit. For example, many enterprises, establish a lot of scholarship in universities to patronize students and researches. By doing so, the company will not simply be more famous, but establish its excellent reputation which may attract elites into its work team. Moreover, people always associate the reputation with the quality of its products. For this reason, the increase of its sales is predictable.

In fact, in some sense, doing contribution to the society can be regarded as a long-term investment which may finally increase the profit as the shareholders want. A company always involves in charity case will of course enjoy a widely known enviable reputation, which will lead to the increase of its customers and thus earn more money. Almost every global business places much attention on such case. For instance, Microsoft, the world software leader, set aside large amount of its annual revenue for the charity. As a result it enjoys an excellent reputation and more and more consumers choose its software product and then bring it huge amount of fortune. There are many such examples.

To conclude, as long as the company operates at a profit, it is its responsibility to make contribution for the society. Also, it is a long run investment which will finally benefit the company. Therefore, it is wise for an executive to pay attention to the social responsibilities.

In today's market economy environment好像一般不这么用哦, many people hold that the only responsibility of corporate executives is to make money as much as possible for their companies, as long as they stay within the law. In my view, however, though to make money the main responsibility不太懂啊, they should also assume some social responsibility.

结构大致正确,但是第三段没有紧扣主题executives
语言仍待改进,毕竟都是中国人,我和你一样,也是满篇的chinglish
悲伤的时候微笑,高兴的时候流泪,投入的时候不顾一切。
