88."Technologies not only influence but actually determine social customs and ethics."

I partly agree that technologies influence and finally determine social customs and ethics. Actually, technologies have great effect on social customs and ethics, but it is not only way to determine and change it.

In the first place, technology has indeed great influence on society, and admittedly has positive and negative effect on social customs and ethics. On the one hand, along with the development of the technology, it has tremendously influence on people's working style and life style. For example, due to some new technological products, such as TV, computer, phone, etc, we can get more timely and important information from these implements. Through using phone, we can talk with friend who leaves us thousand of miles and owing to computer and Internet, we even can see him in the different places. The new technology, truly, changed our lives and society. On the other hand, technology also leads the division of work being more and more detailed, and it leads directly the face-by-face communication of people less and less. Because people can use these technology products to associate with other people, they need not to depend on the traditional ways such as letter any more. However, these new implements can not express people's thoughts, feeling and love well, any style of communication can not compare with the straight language which is born to communicate. So we should definitely see that technology has positive and negative effect on the development of society and people's lives.

In the second place, social customs and ethics actually are determined by the culture of the nation. Different countries have different culture, religion, custom just like most of occidental believe the Christianity while most of oriental once believe Buddhism. Due to different histories, the standpoints of treating some phenomena and objects by people are dissimilar. For example, american like to have parties on Christmas Day while chinese prefer to enjoy on Spring Festival. This is the representation of different culture and history.

In the third place, although technologies have great effect on social customs and ethics, the final decision of confirming different customs and ethics rely on people themselves. Since people is not animal, they have own thoughts, ideas, and sensibleness which can determine their social customs and ethics effectively. Along with the fast development of technology, people may know the knowledge and ethics and customs better, and technology also helps people to determine what kind of customs and ethics is fit for them better. So owing to the advanced technology, people can easily decide their customs and ethics.

In sum, from what has been discussed above, we may draw the conclusion that technology is not only way to determine the social customs and ethics, and people can improve the discrimination of themselves through using technology so that these customs and ethics are more rational and sound.

I partly agree that technologies influence and finally determine social customs and ethics. Actually, technologies have great effect on social customs and ethics, but it is not only way to determine and change it.

However, these new implements can not express people's thoughts,太绝对了 feeling and love well, any style of communication can not be compared with the straight这里要的意思是直接的吧，用direct or straightforward好些 language which is born to communicate. So we should definitely see that technology has positive and negative effect on the development of society and people's lives.换个句式吧，这个句子都出现好多次了we can see clearly both positive and negetive effect put by technology on ……这部分前面的论证比较清楚，后面部分有点naiev建议修改下下。

觉得语言上进步很大，但是在对题目的理解和整体的把握上来有问题，最主要的是应弄明白究竟什么是文化，内涵和外延有是什么，由哪些主要因素决定，然后才可以展开论证，要不然的话感觉没有一个好的标准来衡量。要继续努力哦。
