In talking to whether parents and communities must be involved in education, question arises that what the ultimate goal of education is in our society. As far as my view is concerned, the goal of education can be broadly describes in four tasks: how to know the world, to do some jobs, to get together with others and to be qualified citizens. Although the professional educators may be more proficient and effective in achieving the former two tasks by instilling them knowledge in various realms, parents and communities should hold responsible for the later two.

To begin with, I would like to discuss the role of parents in educating their children, which can exert so strong and lasting an influence upon their sons or daughters that would extend to their adulthood. Education commences at the mother's knee, and every word spoken within the hearsay of children tends towards the formation of character. Particularly, the infantile education, which can hardly been carried out by local schools, should be held accountable by parents. For example: in terms of Freud psychological analysis, an adult’s Oedipus Complex, which may result in an neurosis and inability to form normal sexual relationship in adulthood, springs from his infantile subconscious impression of their parents. In addition, in the adolescent stage, the way parents act in the family life would be directly imitated by their offspring. A father who is a smoker has a large chance that his son would become a smoker in the future. Parents who pay no attention to their behavior which could influence their children actually have given up the role as children’s direct and the earliest teacher, which is harmful to the formation of their proper disposition and character.

Furthermore, the interaction between schools and parents can make our education more efficient than only the professional educators do. The feedback from local school about a child’ performance should be attached great importance by his parent, who then can adjust his behavior through the family education. In reverse, parents can offer to local schools the information about their children’s disposition, intellect and so on, by which teacher in schools can design a better way to educate their children purposefully. Such interplay can do great help to the cultivation of children.

In considering the role of communities, which, in other words, are the social environment where students live, it is of vital need for our communities to set good examples for the younger generation. As British philosopher Bertrand Russell said (I paraphrase), education cruelty and fear in school is bad, but no other kind can be given while the society itself is the slaves of such passions. The morals and virtues advocated on the campus should correspond with those hailed in society, or students would abandon the principles learned in schools in order to fit the social environment. For example, in today’s China, those educators are inculcating students with a sense of duty to obey the traffic rules. But what is the use of teaching that while most members and even the educators themselves in our society are always bold enough to get across a road under the red traffic light? In short, the formation of a well-rounded citizenship lies on the communities’ performance as a whole.

To summarize, education is so great and complex a process in which children are fostered. To secure its qualified “products”, professional educators, parents and communities, all of them, should go hand in hand.

In talking to whether parents and communities must be involved in education, [a] question arises that what the ultimate goal of education is in our society. As far as my view is concerned, the goal of education can be broadly describes [described] in four tasks: how to know the world, to do some jobs, to get together with others and to be qualified citizens. Although the professional educators may be more proficient and effective in achieving the former two tasks by instilling them knowledge in various realms, parents and communities should hold responsible [responsibility] for the later two.

To begin with, I would like to discuss the role of parents in educating their children, which can exert [so strong and lasting an influence-such a strong and lasting influence] upon their sons or daughters that would extend to [extend through 是不是“贯穿”?我查了一下 extend to 好像是“适用于”的意思] their adulthood. Parents who pay no attention to their behavior [behaviors] which could influence their children actually have given up the role as children’s direct and the earliest [primary 更好吧] teacher, which is harmful to the formation of their [这个their 指代谁? 指代关系不清] proper disposition and character.

Furthermore, the interaction between schools and parents can make our education more efficient than only the professional educators do. The feedback from local school about a child’ [child’s] performance should be attached great importance by [to] his parent, who then can adjust his [who 如果指家长,这个his 应该指代孩子吧?指代关系不清] behavior through the family education. In reverse, parents can offer to local schools the information about their children’s disposition, intellect and so on, by which teacher in schools can design a better way to educate their [their指代关系不清] children purposefully. Such interplay can do great help to the cultivation of children.

In considering the role of communities, which, in other words, are the social environment where students live, it is of vital need for [our communities-them] to set good examples for the younger generation. As British philosopher Bertrand Russell said (I paraphrase ), education cruelty and fear in school is bad, but no other kind can be given while the society itself is the slaves of such passions. The morals and virtues advocated on the campus should correspond with those hailed in society, or students would abandon the principles learned in schools in order to fit the social environment. But what is the use of teaching that while most members and even the educators themselves in our society are always bold enough to get across a road under the red traffic light? In short, the formation of a well-rounded citizenship lies on the communities’ performance as a whole.

To summarize, education is so great and complex a process [such a great and complex process] in which children are fostered. To secure its qualified “products”, professional educators, parents and communities, all of them, should go hand in hand.

总体不错,除了指代关系处理较差外,再注意一下so…that、such…that 用法。

你论述能力比较强,希望能帮我改改,论述方面我比较差,谢谢!
我不去想是否能够成功,既然选择了远方,便只顾风雨兼程
