[i习作temp] issue51[溪边林]第二次作业 [复制链接]

这篇更惨,写了5个小时,改了四个小时 ,惭愧   



   The speaker asserts that effective education can be achieve only by entirely meeting individul requirsitons and interests of each student, but we do not agree with speaker's specious assertion. Of couse, no one can ignore that important significance of designing and choicing adaptable methods of education, which is depend on characteristic of student, for effective education, however as my opinoins, speaker's criteria to effective education is too simple or partial. My views can be greatly substantiated by the reasons addressed below.
   
   As well known, education has a two-fold function. On the one hand, education need to teach life skill and knowledge,  According to this function, it is important that individul needs and interests to decised what skills and knowleges that should be taught,  but we cannot indefinedly expand such importance, because student as unadulte, more or less, always form some youngful and misjudgement that maybe influent their development, or not all needs and interest of students is consitent with and benefit to development of  sociality, under this condition, school should pay more attention to amending their uncorrect thoughts  rather than how to meet this thoughts, so, I think that a effective education is not one that is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student but, like what Confucius say, to "teach students in accordance with their aptitude", emphsising on acitive guidence more than passive matching.
   On the other hand, education have become a action by which society or nation shape itself and obtain what it requir,  during 1950s, for example, when the Soviet Union lanched the first orbiting statellite, American schools and colleges came undert intense pressure and were offerd many incentives to improve their science and mathematics programs so that the nation would not fall behind the Soviet Union in scientific and technological capability. Consequently, education should and have to consider requirment of nation and society, if education system of a nation that is designed only base on  compatibility of individual needs and interests of each student, not only student  cannot respond for needs of deveolopment of society and nation, but also this education system will constrict development of nation and socity, can such education  be called "effective"?
   additionally, speaker's assertion conditoion is too idealism, it is impossible and unnecessory to realize. Although humanity society make great effort to ensure every child has equal chance of education during a long term, unforunately, education still is a kind of definate source that cannot be attained by every body who need it, under this surrounder, we should not desire that definate education investigation is uesed to meet needs and interests of every student, furthermore many skill which everybody must need is general and common, for instance analysis skill, logical thinking, and so on,it is not sense to consider individual interests of every student, we can and must complish them in a more macro scale.
     To sum up, although I gree with thoughts included by speaker's assertion that meeting needs and interests of each studenteducation is very important to effective education, education have became more complex and closely relate with many aspects of society, so we should appreciate and define effectivenss of educationmore from a more extensive, objective and actual viewpoint.
