提纲：

1当今世界确实面临着很多难缠的社会问题。
2解决这些社会问题需要各国并肩战斗。
3建立一所世界性的大学有利于学生互相学习和培养合作精神。

Terrorism jeopardize the whole human beings, energy crisis concern the continuable development of economy, population damage the environment, the world faces so much persistent social problems. How to solve those problems? The author recommends that all nations help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving them. I agree that viewpoint.

In the first place, the world face a lot of persistent social problems.. Many innocent citizen are killed by terrorists, the enemy of human beings , especially in 9.11 disaster. Besides, terrorism impose tremendous suffering to the family, friends of the victors, forces every people to live in fear, and strike economy heavily. Similarly, pollution is another problem which concerns human beings so long. Almost every place on the earth has been polluted, even the Antarctic ,where many penguins are killed. Man people die from polluted water or polluted air, more people are hurt by pollution. Those problem not only threaten our life now but also threaten the sustainable development of society.

Every countries have been immersing their effort into solve those persistent problems, unfortunately the single effort dose not suffice to solve them, but rather the issue lies in the cooperation among all countries. For instance, terrorism which have formed a global organization, act in many countries. They built bases all the world , train terrorists in many countries and establish a large connect to transmit information. That force countries fight shoulder by shoulder to beat it. For example, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization plays a important role in fighting against terrorism and keeping the peace and stability. The nuclear issue on Korean Peninsular involving many countries’ interests is a complex problem which will threaten the peace and stability of the world. Six-party-talk mechanism play a constructive role to solve the problems. Emperical evidence validate that if only via the joint effort, the persistent problems can be solved at last.

In order to promote the cooperation among countries, it is necessary to promote a international university to engage students in the process of solving those problems. Students from different countries have different background, different perspective, so they can learn from each other. Besides, such university can help students to learn how to cooperate with others, especially with those with different value system and sense about the world. Because different countries have different ideology, which might impede international cooperation, giving up difference and fighting together is the key point of beat enemies. For instance, America and former Soviet Union have different ideology which is opposed, but in World War 2, they fight together to beat Nazi, which is the result of Stalin and Franklin D Roosevelt's vision at least in part. Nowadays, in order to beat terrorism, it is necessary for us to give difference and fight shoulder by shoulder. In that sense it is a sound recommendation to establish a global university.

To sum up, international cooperation is necessary to solve those persistent problems which concerns the world, and support a international university turns out to be a effective method.
