观点：Criticism is necessary for artists, and they should try their best to adopt critic’s criticism appropriately to better inspire their creativity.

The war between artists and critics has lasted so long. When there is an art produced, there is a criticism. They are coexist and effect to each other, although they appear to be opposite and fighting for their each state. The author suggests that criticism tends to undermine and constrain the artist’s creativity. But in my point of view, criticism is necessary for artists, and they should try their best to adopt critic’s criticism appropriately to better inspire their creativity.

First, criticism is necessary in order to help people to appreciate artist’s works.In this modern society there are many forms of art which have a lot of meanings inside it that many people don’t know how to appreciate them. Critics who have been trained possess professional knowledge which common people do not have to analysis the inside meanings of artist’s works. They are the bridge between artist and people. Without them artist’s works lose their meaning of exist in this society. And with the existence of them people can see the inner beauty of art which is another enjoy of spirit in their lives. Besides, criticisms from different critics reveal different evaluate standards. People can choose which fit their taste freely.

Further more, the criticism can also supplies artists the feed back which can help them to fix the position of their works in the society. Common sense tells us that no man is born to be an artist. They may have a suitable environment to learn but they should obey the learning rule, step by step, from knowing nothing about art. In the process of growing up, the feed back offered by criticism is good for them to know where they, by comparing with what they want to be they will be more clearly which is still need to be improved in their direction.

The most important, artists should try their best to adopt criticism appropriately to better inspire their creativity. In modern society criticism is expressed freely, and it is produced with different standards from different critics. Artists need to get constructive ones from them, and filter poor ones. This is very important and also very hard for an artist to learn from them without being undermined. For example, due to the critic, Dante accomplished Divine. Though, to some extent, excessive criticism will constrain the artist’s creativity, spoil his or her creative impulse, most of criticisms are appropriate and practical.

In sum, art could not go further in the society with out the bridge, critic’s criticism. There are many poor ones, while there are a lot of useful ones. As a result, it is very important for artist to pick appropriate ones good for them to create art.
