Some people like doing work by hand. Others prefer using machines. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

Different people like doing work in different ways, as someone prefers working manually while others may use machines as an auxiliary means. In my opinion, how to do work depends on diverse cases.

As for simple or easy work, it is very convenient to carry out by hands. To deal with this kind of work, using machines seems unnecessary since they waste a lot of energy which may cost highly. On the other hand, sometimes there is not such a machine available to accomplish too simple tasks. Our everyday housework includes many examples. We can hardly find a machine that helps us fold clothes after they are washed and dried. Neither do we use a professional machine to wipe away the dusty on tables or other furniture. This work is too simple. Even if technologists or engineers invent a machine to deal with it, this kind machine is no more than a waste of electricity and money.

For some tasks that need skills, it is also a good way for us to do it manually because it improves our experience and capability. Take cooking for an example. We usually wash the raw vegetables or meat by hands before heating them. There is not any machine can substitute for people’s labor, or no machine would perform as well as a skilled housewife even if this kind machine existed. Moreover, it requires high skills and experiences to boil, fry, or bake food, but even automated machines are not comparable to manage time or temperature very well. That may be why the job of cook can never be taken place by modern machines.

Admittedly, machines are indispensable for some laborious and boring work, particularly for those should be repeated over and over again. It is true that machine can provide large power and force to finish some missions which human beings are difficult to accomplish. Given that some heavy goods of 350 kilograms weight need to be lifted or carried upstairs. It is so stupid that we do not use an elevator as a tool if there is any. Also, we cannot imagine that some office workers copy long-page documents 120 times by hands without aid from a printer or duplicating machine. Nobody would like to praise their diligent and hard working instead of laughing at their foolishness.

In brief, whether to use machines or hands depends on what the specific work is. That easy and simply work does not need any machine, while heavy and tiresome work does.

口语中有很多细节，例子，数字，很好。有的时候lz说得有点快而听不太清。
