Is reading book（books）not as important as it once was? If we focus on the vivid images television provided（provides） and the prompt interaction it owns, then we agree that reading book(books) is less important than watching television.（这句话因果关系似乎不成立）However, when we come to the real research and comprehending the insightful thinking of philosophy, reading book is the best way to get it. (it指的是什么？)On our individual level, it is hard to understand the complex and obscure formulas or scientific theories. Nevertheless, to some extent we need to enrich our common sense by reading something related. Admittedly, reading book is the most conventional way to achieve the final goal. Television, however, provides a more appealing way to make it done on the basis of its unique image properties. Instead of long, tedious and boring descriptions scientists produce a concise video simulating(stimulates) the process which can explains（explain） the sophisticated scientific theories to make them clear to people who do not involve in their fields. Especially for children, television becomes the most popular way to impart knowledge. Since a bunch of cartoon plots evolve from fables, novels and other reading books containing scientific knowledge, children can gain some knowledge while entertaining themselves.However, when it comes to research, books can not be substituted. Since symbols were invented to record, human beings continue to use them to record their daily lives and their criticism to the society they lived. Thousands of years’ accumulating books have become the most valuable legacy. Especially for historians reading books covering from ancient periods to modern ones and ranging from the southern to the north is foundation of collecting materials and going further research. Even though to some extent historical operas produced according to the history facts, editors and producers concentrating on the audience rating more or less make up some plots in order to catering（cater） for audience’s taste. Watching these operas mingling with imagination of editor and producer, historical research goes into no meaning.最后一句说看歌剧对历史的研究没有用处。就这样结束本段是否太突然了，没有指出书的重要性。Moreover, when it comes to poems and philosophy books(只有诗集和哲学书吗？), television can not acts（act） them as simply as novels. Admittedly, we can enjoy poem on televisions with some relating images accompanied. However, taking a portable poem, sitting along the river or in the corner of park and reading it will be more convenient. For those philosophy books, how can we expressing(express) them through television? In these cases, it is no doubt that reading books is the best way to deal with.In sum, in some extent watching television help (helps) us understand scientific theory more easily and gain knowledge more quickly. However, reading books is inevitable when dealing with long-term research and profound philosophy.

本文主要侧重于讲电视在帮助理解科学理论，获取知识的重要性和书本在进行长期研究，哲学研究方面中所起的重要作用。本文把重要性细化到了几个小方面。本人感觉还可以更进一步拓宽思路，可以以小方面为例拓宽到大的方面来进行写作。

这篇文章的语法错误比较多，应该再完成文章后再花几分钟看看全文的语法等小细节错误。

总的来说，本文语言十分流畅，语句衔接的很好，文章内容可以稍加改进。
