83 Government should preserve publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state, even though these areas are often extremely remote and thus accessible to only a few people

I totally agree with the assertion that Government should preserve the wilderness areas in their natural state no matter how many people will access there because these areas deserve and have the necessity to be protected and government is a powerful organization to gain this ends.

Firstly, wilderness areas are worthy of preserving. On the one hand, there are abundant resources of animals and plants in these areas which are valuable for research. For example, Australia is one of the countries that still maintain wilderness areas in their original state in the world. The natural scenery and several precious animals are very deserved to be protected, especially the wombat and kangaroo, which are in a class by themselves in the world. The value of them is self-explanatory; On the other hand, the wilderness areas also have influence to the environment and climate. If we do not take the protection of it into account, once these areas turn into deserts, we would not only lose the invaluable resources but also be hurt by this consequence. The north-west China is an example in point. Nowadays the desertification of the wilderness areas there is more and more serious, results in the sand storm attacks many cities including Beijing several times a year, effecting people’s daily life greatly. If we let matters slide, the consequence would be grievous.

Secondly, wilderness areas need human being to protect. They not only have influenced the environment and climate around but also are easily influenced by them. The excess release of CO2 causes the rising of temperature in the whole world, which changes a lot of wilderness areas’ climate in the North European. Numerous animals which have lived there for thousands of hundreds of years have to move northward. Plants and animals which could not apply to this change suffered a great calamity. Moreover, the actions of some people also destroyed the resources of the wilderness, and the government has the responsibility to deter these deeds. For instance, the antelopes lived on Qinghai Tibet plateau are once very hackneyed/familiar animals which, sadly, are close to extinct now because of the illegal arresting. The government must take effective steps to prevent this kind of animals from extinction.

As we all know, the most powerful organization of protecting the wilderness is government. Through enacting laws, we can deter the illegal deeds of destruction. In America, government forbids anybody stepping on the virescence on the deserts, which prevented the trend of desertification. They also made the law of Wilderness Act in 1964, establishing the natural reserve to preserve wilderness areas. Of course, we can call for all the people to protect wilderness self-consciously. For example, the “Green Peace” is the biggest civilian environment protection organization in the world. They take advantage of “Public opinion” to evocate people to against pollution and protect environment, urge government to take effective measures of controlling pollution and preserving wilderness areas.

In sum, if we confess the necessity and worthy meaning of preserve wilderness areas and we have the ability to do so, then there is no excuse to refuse this assertion.

I totallyagree with the assertion that Government should preserve the wildernessareas in their natural state no matter how many people will accessthere(这个短语结构不明白什么意思呀~) because these areas deserve and have the necessity to beprotected and (the) government is a powerful organization to gain this ends.

The value of them is self-explanatory(明显的意思,又学了个词组,呵呵~); Onthe other hand, the wilderness areas also have influence to theenvironment and climate. If we do not take the protection of it intoaccount, once these areas turn into deserts, we would not only lose theinvaluable(valuable) resources but also be hurt by this consequence.
