I would caution you that the types of research I do (focusing on developing methods, ergo mathematical analysis and computer programming) is different from most of what you have seen, based on your CV. My experience is that physicists and engineers have better training in these topics, however, so you may find my research a good fit for your skills, provided your interests are also aligned in this direction.
