Beijing 6.6 副领事 1000 pass

约的12:30, 早晨9:30和hambobo拥抱后出发，11:40左右就看见bluewonder哥
哥在使馆门口焦急地等待syan嫂嫂。恩，嫂嫂出来后讲了她被5号窗口副领
事逼问的过程，还说有PKUer被rej了，有一点小紧张。不过想想自己准备得
很充分了，材料很多很有力，就放心了。

12:15左右被叫号进入，路上和一个天津大学的gg, 去Florida，攀谈了两句，
互相鼓励了一下。恩，交表的时候又碰到了一个在NYU chem的PKU98级学长
很是高兴。

接着就是领牌子。那时我观察几个窗口，5号是德裔副领事，7号是黄磊gg, 8
号是jfmm. 后两个都特别的nice, 尤其是jfmm笑的特别灿烂~~我已经知道德裔
副领事是比较严格的了，而我前面已经排着若干个队，心里想反正他要午餐
的，觉得不太可能被带到他那里：）后来果然都换了~~3号换成了来过北大
的副领事，7号换成了一个年纪稍微大一点的jfmm，5号关了，恩。看到aidi
被带到3号，很快过了，johngia也已经在window 1等visa了，心情好了很多。
然后被带到3号。我前面有5个人，给了4 pass 1 check，觉得不错。接着我上
前.

M: Good afternoon, sir. Here is my card.
V: Good afternoon.
M: Have you been in PKU and given us a speech?
V: Yeah
M: Nice to meet you again!
V: Nice to meet you again...seems that this clothes is very popular?
(我和aidi都穿的物理年的“院衫”，估计他刚才签aidi的时候就注意到了)
M: Yeah, 'cause this year is the year of physics.
V: (点头,翻看我的DS表) So u will go to Columbia?
M: Yeah, I'll pursue PhD in theoretical physics there.
V: (点头) I'm also graduated from Columbia, but my major is not physics.
M: (smile) Columbia is a great university.
V:(smile, 翻我的I-20)
V:(唏嘘状) You've got so much money? 58000$!!!
M:(刚想解释说明明哥大学费高纽约生活贵，大家都这么多钱，一想算
了)Thanks.
V:(翻看我的简历)Wow, u rank the 1st in your department?
M:Yeah. (谦虚一下) just according to the scores.
V:(看我简历上本科的实验室写着Lab of Nonlinear Physics,  Inst. of Condensed
Matter) So u will go to Columbia to learn Condensed Matter?
M: THEORETICAL condensed matter.
V:(点头). Tell me why u choose Columbia. %%我觉得这是他问我的唯一一个正经问题
M: Because theoretical physics in Columbia is excellent, and moreover, a Nobe
l Prize Winner(放慢速度) welcomed me to go there. I feel very honored.
V: (点头) Please give me ur offer letter and the letter from that Professor.
M: (递进去)
V: You can go to Window 1 and get your visa.
M: Thanks~~

总体感觉气氛蛮轻松的，恩那。正经的问题就一个，没纠缠专业和归国计划

什么的。
