第一次写呢，真的觉得太久没写作文是件残忍的事，现在根本就想不出有什么话可说，词汇量也不够，希望会越写越好吧，呵呵，我会努力的！！
真的要谢谢米米哦，要不是你我都不晓得何年何月才会写第一篇呢，呵呵，也不会知道自己的差距了，我3月的作文，我们都加油吧。fighting!!

"The only responsibility of corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, is to make as much money as possible for their companies."

In today’s technological advanced society ,corporate executives should make every effort to increase the profits of their companies,but it is unwarranted and ridiculous to unecessarily extends this broad assertion to embrace that is the only responsibility of corporate executives,while ignoring some responsibilities else.My point of contention towards the responsibility of corporate executives on our society involves the advantages which might improve people’s life and the disadvantage that may hamper the human society in several aspects,as discussed below.
First of all, I must admitted that corporate executives have a responsibility that is to make their companies have more benefits.The members certainly hope that the ones they selected would lead them to live better.Irwin Federman,president and CEO of Monolithic Memories,one of the most successful of the high-tech companies in Silicon Valley,illustrates this brilliantly in the following quote:”People willingly follow others not for who they are,but for how they make us feel.It makes us good to do so.”As a result,sensitivity to their menbers’ needs,wants and concerns is at the top of their priorities.
Although I agree that statement more or less,I insist that that is not the only responsibility of corporate executives.In the first place,besides making as much money as possible,corporate executives should be aware of businesses social responsibilities.Doing some good things for the community will benefit companies in the long run.
In the second place,corporate executives should pay attention to the law because technology often keep ahead of the law.Therefore,new products and services might hurt people potentially when the law didn’t limit them.Taking an example of it,Internet commerce is still largely unregulated because our lawmakers are slow to react to such businesses.As a result,corporate executives should have a responsibility to notice every aspect of their own products and services.
From what has been discussed above,we may safely draw the conclusion that coporate executives have not only a responsibility which is just to make as much money as possible for their companies.In my opinion,making benefits for their companies is just the most basic responsibility at all.Many other responsibilities,such as take care of their companies,benefit people all over the world ,are much more important.
