With the invention of television and internet, advertisements invade in our lives at an astounding speed. When (we)walking in the street, popular stars in advertisements on the wall of buildings or painted on the bus will impress us everyday(伴随状语的逻辑主语与主句一致... Undoubtedly, because of its prominent effect to help promote sales, advertisements with celebrities and models involved now becomes the sharpest weapon in the marketing strategy. And I further assent that it could help a group of people feel better about themselves.
The prominent effect of celebrities and models in advertisements is that audiences could be convinced. Normally, companies will choose those popular singers, famous sportsmen or beautiful models in their advertisement. Due to their popularities or good appearance, audiences, especially their fans, will believe what they advocate so that trials would be made to the products advertised. Like in Nike's advertisement of sport shoes, they invite Ronaldo, the most brilliant football talent, to speak for them that Nike's shoes are the best. Potential customers will be influenced because Ronaldo's fantastic skills would convince them that Nike's shoes could make feet comfortable and help the performance. Another example would be the advertisement of a skin care product which let(s) a very beautiful model be the testimonial. Because of her well-nurtured skin, many females would believe that the product could really help improve the skin. The effect of those advertisements is very successful, at least could attract many trials, which is proved by the fact that many companies still prefer those related stars or models in their advertisements.
In addition, for some people, advertisements with those famous stars could help people feel better. From the psychology(According to psychological analysis),customers use same products as their idols do,(and) they will have the impression that they are like their idols in other facets.(本句双动词,sentence fragments~! The effect is more significant to(感觉“to”用的不对) those youngsters. Many of us might have the feeling that we were like some stars if we wore the same shoes as they did in the advertisements in our juvenile age. Even adults, this effect could not be neglected. Many of people who drive Porsche would feel that they are very successful and well respected although some of them just rent the car and are not successful at all. This is because in the advertisement of Porsche, the man who drives it is rich and respected by many others which scatter the illusion that people drive Porsche are those elites and millionaires. And in the real life, the fact that many successful people really drive Porsche which is pertinent to live advertisements assures this feeling. And such examples are uncountable and prevalent in our lives.
Admittedly, a big portion of people are skeptical of influence of the celebrity in advertisements. However, the advertisement still has the uncountable effect in their subconscious. It is incontrovertible that advertisements with familiar celebrities or beautiful girls will attract the attention of this group of people. Also from the psychology, it is people's nature to loves beauties and bear in mind of familiar things in the world. Rather than choosing some homely people in the advertisement, the company inviting celebrities or models will make it known to the society so that when customers make a decision, they can remember that there is such a brand of product which may be potential for choice.
In conclusion, with celebrities and models, the advertisement could more or less increase sales and make some people feel better of themselves.(结尾太仓促,不升华一下是大忌啊...) |
