The speaker claims that for solving the world’s most persistent social problems, all nations should develop a global university. In some sense, some people would hold a belief that it is useful to found a global university, while others have an opposing attitude. However, as far as I concerned, I fundamentally agree with the speaker claim that a nation should support the development of a global university for some reasons substantiated by following discussion.

Admittedly, the fundamental reason why I agree with is that from the points of entity, it is necessary for human people to develop a global university. With the development of technology, there are countless problems which were faced by any nation. Nowadays, it is impossible for individual nation to solve to problems of environment, famine, and terrorism. If developing a global university, students in this university can learn what the world's social problems are in present world and that solving these problems should have an association with other nations. It is no doubt that founding a global university make student from different nations together address social problems.

Furthermore, the second reason I agree is that by studying in a global university, students can stand a different stage to focus on some world's social problems. There is no better illusion than a global university in my country. Due to resource from different nation, students can communicate with people from different nations and learn the different social customs, value and culture. By taking to an Islamic student, a American student increasingly has a deep cognition about the Islamic region so that he rule out the discrimination towards the Islams. From this case, without the communication of global university, some world's social problems such as region discrimination can not be dispersed.

However, when it comes to the differences between different countries, a nation should develop a global according university with individual world's social problems. Due to the difference of culture, economic and social value, each nation has own world's social problems. For example, the United States was more possibly concerned about how to keep a balance between the environmental protection and the development of industry. On the contrast, many African countries care about how to end the situation of famine and ethnical war and create a peaceful circumstance for further development. Both the problems of United States and the problems of African countries were world's social problems. But when developing a global university to solve these problems, United States and African countries should refer their own conditions.

In sum, it is necessary for each nation in the world to found a global university to solve the world's social problems. By studying in the global university, students can have a view which differentiates with old ones to deal world's social problems. What is more, a nation should develop a global university based on its own special social situation
