Agree or disagree: Teachers should assign homework for students every day. (2007.1.13,学习教育类)

Homework is one of disciplines that the students should have, especially for middle school and high school students. So they can master what they learn that day as it is not available for some students to be active in studying. In my view, teachers should assign homework everyday.

In the first place, homework can make students keep in minds about what they learn on that day. Youngster, generally spend their time playing computer games and enjoy themselves with friends. And some of them may have part time jobs for more broken money. Therefore, students should have homework to remind them of the knowledge, and also it is one of the disciplines the students should learn to obey. Homework does not only mean to repeat the lesson they had, it shows that students need to follow the principles and it is the way they understand there are rules around them, from schools to society.

Furthermore, varied styles of homework bring distinct chances for students to have practice. Homework is not totally like the traditional ones, to rewrite the knowledge as most Chinese students do. Teachers can assign homework differently. For instance, students are allowed to have a lesson in front of the class like their teachers. They will search the information through reading in library or discussing with friends concerning the lesson they will present. Also it is a wonderful opportunity to practice spoken skills before people and make others understand them. From some people, it is not easy for them to explain even if they understand in their minds, and speaking in front of the whole class can be a good practice, even for the job in the future. In this situation teachers should give them more encourage rather than only superficial homework. Therefore, there are different ways to assign homework that students can learn something from.

In conclusion, teachers should give students homework everyday. Sometimes students may feel bored, and teachers should let them know the purpose of homework. It will help students understand the knowledge they learn, and also learn to obey principles.
