本来打算去学校A了，并且用寄来的I20交了200刀的SEVIS FEE, 现在想去另一个学校，请问还需要再重新交200刀吗？还是需要交transfer一类的费用呢？望高人指点呀

嗯...SEVIS号码不同是要重新交的,不过保险起见你问问领事馆吧

technically, you don't need to pay for the SEVIS fee again. what you should do right now is to contact school A and ask them to transfer your info in the SEVIS system to school B. meanwhile, you need to contact SEVIS administrator about your intention for such transfer. the whole process normally takes you two weeks. you should be one hundred percent sure that school A has officially granted an approval on the release of your SEVIS info before school B could ever possibly handle your case. don't mess up with school A no matter what would happen 'cause if you have previously accepted their offer of admission, they do have legitimate right to hold your SEVIS info. so, be sure that school A is willing to officially remove you from the liability of registration for fall 2009.

非常感谢版主的解答，再问一下
如果学校A不愿意transfer我的SEVIS Infor，或transfer时间上来不及赶上签证，我可以直接选择再付200刀的钱给学校B吗？去签的时候只带上给B交的SEVIS FEE，这样允许吗？

----- SEVIS费不是付给学校的，费用是付给移民局的。系统里在你这个名字下只能有一个注册学校，所以如果A校不放你，你再付200也没用，系统无法完成对你的信息的注册。唯一的解决办法只能是A校现在SEVIS里release你的信息，B校再接收，这是正常的transfer程序。如果可以随便按照你自己的意愿，不管先答应了哪个学校，最终想去哪个学校就去哪个学校，那早乱套了，也没有诚信可言了。SEVIS系统设计成这样，也是老美留了一手。建议你慎重而为。

7.A. What are the basic rules for applying a SEVIS I-901 fee payment from one SEVIS ID number to another?; C5 V, t' X0 Y/ Z& q5 T# O
The basic rules for moving a SEVIS I-901 fee payment between SEVIS ID numbers are:

The SEVIS I-901 fee must be moved between SEVIS ID numbers for the same individual
An additional SEVIS I-901 fee is not required (For more information, see the section, Do I pay the fee?)
The SEVIS I-901 fee amount for the new school or program must be less than or equal to the SEVIS I-901 fee already paid (see the Fee Amount Chart)
Only the student or exchange visitor may request the move

Follow the directions for requesting that SEVP move your fee payment.
7.B. What do I do if I paid on one SEVIS ID number and now want to go to a different school or participate in a different exchange visitor program?' ~) d) b, g% C% P% G$ P7 P
If you have not received a visa or if you are visa exempt and have not applied for nonimmigrant status at the POE, you can apply the SEVIS I-901 fee that you already paid to another Form I-20 or DS-2019 if you meet the basic rules for reapplying fees. 1 Z. f2 Y6 h* w: Y3 x$ t
Follow the directions for requesting that SEVP move your fee payment.
7.C. An exchange visitor program or other third party paid my SEVIS I-901 fee and now I want to participate in a different program? Can I transfer my SEVIS I-901 fee?
Yes, you may transfer the fee if you have not received a visa or if you are visa exempt and have not applied for nonimmigrant status at the POE and you meet the basic rules for transferring fees. Follow the directions for requesting that SEVP move your fee payment information.
7.D. How do I ask SEVP to transfer the SEVIS I-901 fee payment information from one SEVIS ID number to another?$ \. H2 k' R! C1 b- G! s- J
If you want to transfer the SEVIS I-901 fee payment information from one SEVIS ID number to another, you need to mail or e-mail SEVP. SEVP will consider your request and determine if the fee can be transferred. See the section on the basic rules for transferring fees.' R$ R$ w" r% H. @% d3 }0 o
Put Fee Transfer in the subject line of your request. Give us your name, date of birth, the SEVIS ID number that you originally paid on and the SEVIS ID number you want to transfer the payment to, as well as a current, valid address where we can mail your updated Form I-797 receipt to you. Explain why the fee needs to be transferred. It will help speed your request if you include a copy of your original receipt or your receipt number. Include information on how to contact you if there are any questions.

If your request is approved, you will receive an updated I-797 payment receipt reflecting the SEVIS ID from your new Form I-20 or DS-2019.
