今天早上收到的，说了一大堆废话，然后说不能收我去统计的PHD项目，但是由于我。。。样，建议我转申master，而且明说master没钱
其实这些看上去都没什么
但是，我从一开始就申的Master啊，从来没有申过PHD项目....:funk:

The faculty of the Department of Statistics has reviewed your application for the Ph.D. program. The task of selecting an entering class from among so many qualified applicants is a difficult one. The Committee on Admissions is unable to offer you admission to the Ph.D. However, since your application was competitive, we would like to know whether you are interested in having your application reviewed for admission to the Master of Arts degree program.

Please understand that this is not an offer of admission, but rather an invitation to have the committee review you for admission to the Master of Arts degree program only. Because funds are limited, we will be unable to offer you any fellowship support should you be admitted to the M.A. program.

If you would like to be considered for the M.A. program, please contact Ms. Madeline Rivera, mr1025@columbia.edu by April 1 and she will notify the faculty admissions committee that you would like to have your application re-reviewed.
