Master in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language

Cognitive Neuroscience arises from coordinating efforts in such different areas as cognitive psychology, neuroscience, linguistics and clinical neuropsychology with technological advances in the fields of neuroimaging and computing. This interdisciplinary venture aims to discover the brain mechanisms that underlie psychological processes such as language.

The Master’s program is aimed at university graduates with various degrees who are interested in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language. The duration of the program is one academic year with 60 ECTS credits. The students will develop research skills through the mentorship of experts and by completing a Master’s Research Project at the end of the program. The language of instruction is English.

APPLICATION PERIODS

ROUND 1:

- Application sent by mail to mastercnl@bcbl.eu by FRIDAY, 15 FEBRUARY 2013
- Notification of the Master’s admissions board’s decision: MARCH 2013
- Admitted students should confirm their intention to participate in the program by FRIDAY, 19 APRIL 2013

ROUND 2:

- Application submitted ONLINE from March to May, 2013 (exact dates to be confirmed here)
- Notification of the Master’s admissions board’s decision: JUNE 2013
- Admitted students should confirm their intention to participate in the program by MONDAY, 15 JULY 2013

International candidates needing visas will find that applying in Round 2 makes the timing of their visa application stressful.

Please note that each “round” represents a distinct period in which you may apply, not a succession of steps for your application. You may apply in one round only, one time in an application year.
