V: Good afternoon! 你打算读物理?
M: Yes, I intend to focus my PHD study on materials physics
V: 你为什么去这个学校?
M: I choose this university because it’s doctoral physics program fits perfectly with my future career plan when I return to China! (被打断, v: 你准备签证很长时间了吧! M: no, just a few days. V smiled and said: I see)
V: 你申请了多少所学校?
M: More than ten.
V: 这么多啊
M: I want to give myself more opportunities.(这个时候我就觉得好象回答得不对,准备继续说,结果被他打断了,我觉得该继续说, 但是又不太好 就没有说什么了)
V: 哪些学校要你了?
M: Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey!
V: 你以后打算从事什么职业
M: I intend to be a professor when I come back!( 准备继续说, 又被打断)
V: 还有其他想做的吗?
M: I believe my academic credential shall earn me consultancy roles or laboratory position! (没有说完,本来还想继续说的, 被他打断)
V:: 你父母是干什么的?
M: They are both teachers!

然后他对着电脑敲了半天东西, 我不晓得该说话否. 最后还是没有做声, 然后他回头, 拿了一张白条,( I am sorry, I can’t give you the visa today.)
