Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Modern technology is creating a single world culture. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

With the fast progresses of society and drastic development of technology, people can have high level-standard and comfortable living with help of modern inventions. However, technology is two sides sword, which also brings negative influences on human beings. So some people hold the opinion that modern technology is producing a single world culture. As far as I am concerned, although techniques can place negative impact on world culture to some extent, the positive parts of technology greatly over weight the contrary ones.  

To begin with, it must be acknowledged that technology introduces negative influences to the world culture. Accompanying with emergence of television, people become more and more tend to watch programs on television without going out to take some exercise or visiting friends and landscapes. This case is more serious to young children, who lack of self-control and social experience to direct their behaviors. For example, form one medical research, there are more than 10 million children in China who become over weight awing to more time in watching and less healthy exercise. Children also like to eat food when they are watching television, which is one of major factors leads to overweigh. Besides, thanks to less time in communicating with friends, children become alone. Therefore, some inventions from the modern technology can cause negative on world culture.

However, modern technology brings benefits to human beings, as well as the world culture. The inventions of car and plane, cell-phone and satellite, computer and internet convert the world into a global village, and result in a multi culture. For example, I can get information about American culture from internet and movies, and enjoy this culture by visiting some beautiful places in United States by plane. I also can make some friends who live in other countries with the help of cell-phone and satellite. We can take about their cultures and exchange our feelings and emotion through conveniences of modern technology. Hereby, modern technology can provide people many benefits and strengthen world culture.

Finally, with the help modern technology, we can protect scare cultures which are in danger. For example, we can go to Africa to prevent some tribe cultures from fading with modern technology and their cultures also are parts of human civilizations and should get aids from others developed countries.

In summary, it is obvious that modern technology is creating a multi-world culture with the conveniences of inventions, albeit it also brings negative influences to human beings to some extent. Remember that you do not throw out baby with the bath water.
