Ph.D. Position at University of Utah (Fall 2020)

Prof. Mu Zhang in the School of Computing at University of Utah is hiring multiple highly motivated Ph.D. students, who will be fully supported by research assistantships. The research areas include several aspects of security: systems and software security, IoT and mobile security and cyber-physical systems (CPS) security. Students who have a good understanding of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, Android, iOS, etc.) or strong programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Java, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Security, IoT or CPS background and static or dynamic program analysis experiences are big pluses but not required. The candidate must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. All applications need to be submitted through the official admission website. However, if you are really interested or have any questions, you can directly send me your CV and transcript (official or unofficial) at: muzhang@cs.utah.edu.
