香港城市大学郭駿傑研究组博士生招收启事
课题组简介:
郭駿傑(Kwok Chun Kit),香港城市大学化学系助理教授,从事核酸化学及核酸生物学研究。近年来以第一或共同第一作者在Nature主刊, Nature Methods, Nature Communication, Nature Protocols, Angewandte Chemie International Edition等高影响因子杂志发表一系列重大研究成果,并荣获“Croucher Postdoctoral Fellow”、“ Selected Young Scientist Participant for the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting”、“ Inventor Incentive Award” 、“ Royal Society International Exchange Fellowship” 等国际奖项。此外,他还作为通讯作者受邀撰写了多篇综述和专题文章,并发表在Trends in Biochemical Sciences、Trends in Biotechnology、Nature Plants、Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology 等国际著名期刊。自2016年开始,实验室便与众多国内外知名大学(剑桥大学、牛津大学、清华大学,、新加坡国立大学、中山大学、香港大学和香港中文大学等)建立长期合作项目。更多详情请访问实验室网站:http://kitkwok.com

待遇:
录取的博士研究生每月会有~16,500 HKD的政府奖学金补助;如果申请到Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme,可以有每月~25,000 HKD的补贴。

Introduction of Team
Prof. Chun Kit Kwok is currently recruiting highly talented researchers to join the lab. Dr. Kwok, an assistant professor of Chemistry Department in City University of Hong Kong, is an expert in nucleic acid chemistry and biology. Recently he has published a series of research articles in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols and Angewandte Chemie International Edition. In addition, he has obtained many international awards owing to his excellent research including Croucher Postdoctoral Fellowship, Selected Young Scientist Participant for the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, Inventor Incentive Award, Royal Society International Exchange Fellowship, etc. Also, he has been invited to write reviews and feature articles as corresponding author for prestigious journals such as Trends in Biochemical Sciences, Trends in Biotechnology, Nature Plants, Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology, etc. Since 2016, Prof. Kwok’s lab has established many collaboration projects with prestigious Universities (Cambridge University, Oxford University, TsingHua University, National University of Singapore, Cornell University, UC Davis, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, etc.). Scholarships

Requirements
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry or related disciplines. Good background with research experience in Molecular biology and Chemical Biology is preferred. Being motivated and ability to work independently are required. Good skills with English reading and writing.
