作文篇之issue准备
整个准备过程贯穿一个核心任务:运用自己语言总结例子并熟练运用。通过Microsoft的百科全书、北美范文或者POOH百宝箱中寻找名人例子,一定将其改编成符合自己语言风格的版本,并进行背诵。值得注意的是,同一位名人的事例可以用在不同的论点中,需要在列提纲中仔细体会。比如,贝多芬(Beethoven)的生平:
1、赞颂其伟大成就或者崇尚自由反对强权可以用:
The outstanding German composer Beethoven created the Ninth Symphony, which depicts an initial and persistent struggle with adversity and established an uplifting version of freedom and social harmony.
2、论述面对挫折不屈服或者人生中困难的积极意义等等可以用:
Just as his success seemed assured, he was confronted with the loss of that sense upon which his career life primarily depended--his hearing. Beethoven's despair over his increasing hearing loss gradually put an end to his performing career. However, Beethoven’s compositional achievements did not suffer from his hearing loss but instead gained in richness and power over the years.
3、论证内在意志战胜临时环境或者历史人物对于我们的鼓舞作用可以用:
Plagued at times by serious illness, Beethoven nevertheless maintained his sense of humor and often amused himself with jokes and funs. He continued to work at a high level of creativity until he finally died in Vienna in 1827.
4、论述反对霸权、坚持原则或者崇尚自由平等的重要性可以用:
Beethoven disdained injustice and tyranny, and used his art to sing the praises of the ideals of freedom and equality, even as hopes faded for progress through political change. His angry cancellation of the dedication of the already accomplished symphony to Napoleon Bonaparte reveals Beethoven’s refusal to compromise his principles.
同时,借助机经和分类题目列提纲,处理策略是:限时练习超高频题目,并尽量找周围同学互改,别人的修改建议会让你发现以前从未觉察的缺陷和错误,而且交流往往会碰撞出思想的火花,会为作文增色不少;当月出现频率在30次以上的题目都要仔细分析,列详细提纲,要具体到TS和相关例子(自己总结并背诵);累计出现频率为零的题目大可放弃不看。Issue准备过程中最重要的元素是自录例子和机经,而最关键的练习就是对高频题目的写作思路分析和对作文的修改。
