像这种题目，可以根据句子的意思来选择，这样可能需要同学有很高的阅读基础，要在特别快的时间内把原文精确的翻译出来。
当然，也有一些小技巧来定位答案。比如这道题，在看到备用句子的时候，首先看主语和宾语，快速缩小范围。主语he,宾语feed boxes,也就是发生在人和食盒之间的事情。快速扫描原文，发现只有前面两句的主语是备用句子里的成分，那肯定是第一句和第二句了。这样能节省很多时间。
还有一个技巧是不用逐句翻译句子，而是看五个原句的主语，大概知道这句讲的是关于什么东西了，也能帮助同学快速的match备选句子的大概位置。然后可以细看句子逻辑关系，选答案。
还有一个检查的小窍门是，你做完题后，看备选句子，插入句子的前后句子的主语单复数，指代词，是不是match.当然如果同学能把这个技巧用的很变通的话，可以用来直接定位句子的。
同学问到的这个题就是很好的例子。第一句，主语kramar,一个人;第二句，主语boxes,第三句主语"its position"，如果做题熟练的话，看到这里基本就可以肯定是第一句和第二句之间了。如果不保准，可以继续看，第四句，主语birds；第五句，主语the box. 后面讲的东西完全和备用句子没有关系了，而且第五句的box是单数，和备用句子的boxes是不同概念。

所以，同学练好基本功是基础，掌握一些小技巧也是必须的。即使我们不纯用技巧来解题（毕竟有一些很刁钻的题目不是纯靠技巧能解决的），但平时练习的时候有了这种应变的思维，考试的时候还是有所帮助的。不知道罗嗦这么多讲没讲明白。如果同学有疑问，就跟帖上来吧。

这道题选B。比较迷糊的一点就是不知道A如何排除

呵呵。好巧，这道题也给一个同学结过了。
这道题的迷惑选项的设置类型在tpo中遇到至少3次了：words play-文字游戏。
把第一选项和题干连接起来，当一个句子看：the begging calls of tree nesting warblers put them at more risk than ground-nesting warblers experience。是对比的句子。乍一看，挺对，但同学再仔细看前半个句子的主语“the begging calls" put "them",那么them是指什么呢？指代不明。比如说中文，这棵树上的气球让它们比那棵树更漂亮。“它们”是指谁呢？
如果改成正确的选项，them需要一个修饰成分来说明：put them who produceing these at more risk than---.这样them才是鸟，these是指鸟叫。这样才明白正确。
所以同学再遇到题目时，如果发现两个选项都对，怎么也不好选出来，把选项和问题结合起来看。文字游戏的题目就我目前看到的，很多都是这样混淆主语宾语的逻辑关系的。

第一，你说的对，是根据large flows---选出来的。
其次，我们来翻译下这段原文吧：Regularly flowing rivers and streams that originate within arid lands are known as "endogenous." These are generally fed by groundwater springs, and many issue from limestone massifs, such as the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Basaltic rocks also support springs, notably at the Jabal Al-Arab on the Jordan-Syria border. Endogenous Rivers often do not reach the sea but drain into inland basins, where
the water evaporates or is lost in the ground. Most desert streambeds are normally dry, but they occasionally receive large flows of water and sediment.
贫瘠的陆地自身内部产生的有规律的河流或者小溪被称为“e". 它们通常是由地下水泉补充形成的，有些是从LM流出来的，比如AM. B这种石头也会形成泉，比较知名的是在J的一种鹅卵石。"e"河流经常不回流到海里去，而是排到内陆盆地，在那里水会蒸发或者流失于地面。很多沙漠的河床通常是干的，但偶尔会得到大量的洪流和沉淀物。
"e"=沙漠里的河流（=flows,=floods)=地下水，但是不能用（看红色的句子），结合下面一段的主旨：地下水很重要，但是很少能用的。这就是为什么floods提供了大量的水，但be destructive的由来。
另外，重要的一点，这里destructive不能用“破坏性的”，可以翻译为“消极的，没有什么帮助的”，对应constructive“建设性的”，
我想同学的迷惑应该是这个词汇的翻译问题引起的。
