我的Email不是直接发给grad admission committe的，发给他们只有自动回复的废话
我的信是直接发给EE的。
发了N封，目前没收到CMU，Princeton，Northwestern U，U of Washington，
Vanderbilt U的回信，不过在它们的网页上可以查到他们不要或CBT或倾向PBT，toooooo
old了。
    给我回信的如下：

    较明确的说prefer PBT的：

    Lehigh U
    （Thank you for your interest in our programs, the pbt are preferred, and
we encourage students to take them in place of the CBT for the very reason you
said in your e-mail.）

    Auburn U
    (While we prefer the paper test, we will accept the computer-based GRE, provided that it is officially reported by the Educational Testing Service.)

    UCLA
    (Due to the scandal, we accepted no computer-based GRE scores last
year, so yes, paper is definitely a better option.)

    UMN
    (You should take the paper test until our university changes its rule. )

    DUKE
    (The paper-based score is preferred; however, Duke will accept CBT scores
taken before October 2002.)

    University of Pennsylvania
    (Our school no longer accepts the computer based scores only the paper  
based.)

    U of Colorado
    (Thank You as well for your interest in our graduate program.  We do not
have a preference for paper-based vs. computer-based GRE scores--it's obvious
if you were honest during your exam or not.  We do prefer the post-October
2002 Analytical section scores, but have never disqualified anyone based on  
the old scores.)

    University of Illinois at Chicago
    (We are aware that computer-based testing has been cancelled in some
locations due to a security breach in the GRE examination. Applicants who
took the test during the period when the breach occurred will however not be
required to take GRE exam
again for admission to the ECE graduate program at UIC. But the breach will
be factored in for consideration of admission and financial aid. Greater
weight will be given to other criteria for admission and aid. )

本人7月份无聊，发了二、三十所学校询问CBT事宜，以下是部分答复。
ASU
Please consult your academic unit for any entrance exam requirements such as GRE, GMAT, or GMAT.  Entrance exam score reports are forwarded directly to the academic unit program office based on the program noted on the score report.  Scores are recorded to an applicant's file only after the applicant has been admitted.   The Graduate College Admissions office does not track test score results for applicants who are not admitted.  Please verify receipt of these documents directly with your academic unit.  Academic unit e-mail addresses are available on our web site at www.asu.edu/gradate .

Boston University
Thank you for your message. The College of Engineering at Boston University  
does accept the GRE CBT test.   
For information about the requirements of the University of New York at Buffalo  
please be so kind and contact the UNY directly.


CWRU
Both GRE general and TOEFL tests are required for admission. The minimum requirements are 550 points on TOEFL and 1700 points on GRE. However, the majority of the admitted applicants have GRE scores exceeding 2000. We continue to accept computer-based GRE scores from Chinese applicants. Presently our department does not have an officially adopted policy with regard to the new format of the GRE test.  

Cornell
Applications for the Fall 2004 semester will not be made available until sometime in late August. If you are an international student, you will be required to submit a Pre-Application as the first step in the application process. You will be able to submit your Pre-Application online as of 7/1/03. Please contact me again directly after this date.  

Johns Hopkins  
As long as your scores are current and verifiable, we will accept them.  


Lehigh
Yes, we will accept it.  As long as ETS sends us your official scores we will
accept them.

PSU
As long as ETS can report your official GRE scores to us, we will accept the computer-based test.  While ETS has reported a breach in security on the electronic version of the GRE, it would not be fair to assume that all scores are fraudulent. The Admissions Committee reviews all materials received with an application not just the GRE.  An admission decision is not based on GRE scores alone.  

Princeton

Purdue
We will accept your August 2002 GRE scores.

RPI
Rensselaer is accepting computer based test scores, unless ETS informs us
that a particular test date or individual test is questionable.

Rutgers
If you apply with CBT GRE scores from Chine, we will give less weight to your
application than if you took the paper-based GRE test in China.

Texas A&M
Computor based scores are accepted

Texas Austin
The University of Texas accepts all test scores issued directly by the  
Educational Testing Service (ETS) to the University.
We will accept both paper and computer based scores as long as they are  
issued by ETS.

UCSB
Hi.  Yes, currently we do accept computer-based GRE scores.  

U of Houston
Computer based GRE is OK


UIC
Yes, we still accept paper based GRE.  

UIUC
ECE will accept your computer-based test scores.

UW
The Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Washington will  
accept computer-based GRE test results for Autumn 2004.  However, it is  
important for you to understand that we will be treating all such scores  
with caution.  The Admissions Committee will be looking to ensure that the  
test results coincide with the student's academic record.  

WSU
Thank you for your interest.  We accept computer based GRE scores, but they do not count as much as the paper-based scores due to the compromising of the tests.  There is no way to know if perfect scores are earned.
