*a person who evaluates works of art, such as novels, films, music, paintings, etc.

In this issue, the author states that the artist are of great importance in giving art of lasting value to society while the critic have no such importance. From my point of view, the critic, if not more, are as important as the artists are.

Admittedly, the ones who used their great knowledge and imagination to create such art which has perpetual influence in history deserved their fame since without their star like inspiration there would never be art on the earth. No matter what field such as novels, films, music, paintings, and poems and so on, to create a whole new object which has never been seen, heard or even thought requires not only knowledge, effort and wisdom, but also the astonishing inspiration and enormous courage. But any one of them, which is so-called "artist" by the author, if is still alive today, will definitely have confusion as below, "how can a common person such as a peasant or an illiterate citizen understand my great feelings pouring into my great art?" That is just the importance of the critic who is the same great as the artists.

Among all artist, few of them are talkative and optimism. The excessive happiness or pain impacted their brains day by day, which lead to the impulsion to make a composition or a creation. The feeling was flowing though the brush of a painter, the pen of a poet or a piano of a musician. The process of passing the feeling and some other content can be considered as "secret" or "mute" which means you would never see someone who deserve the title of "artist" shouts to his neighbors what he is feeling about and why he creates the "art" when painting. Just because no "real concrete sound" is let out when you confront the art, you indeed need someone to do the translation of art. That group of "someone” is called by us "the critic".

Without work done by thousands of the critic, the smile of Mona Lisa created by the greatest artist Leonardo Da Vincy may still be mistaken as from a common female of a common family. Yet, Mona Lisa is a common female, but no words of common have been applied on Vinci just because of the contribution by the critic. They may be the first ones who really understand the significance of the smile by Mona Lisa, or at least by Da Vinci. Equipped with far great more awareness of history, knowledge of art and extremely high temperature, they study every painting done by those so-called "artist". Many of the critic worked until their life ended in order to have a thoroughly comprehension of the creations to find those which have lasting value, though unfortunately too few of them really has the value. The great valuable art are all selected technically from the billions of works by many artists. Without the critic, there would be no things that have the real lasting value. In other words, the artists create art, while the critics create value.

Unfortunately, today there is still few of us who show respects to those critics who have done the excellent work in art history. Many still have the same prejudice as the author. Still taking Mona Lisa as example, even the most authoritative critic can not compare with Vinci in fame and influence. All what the critic done was just to superinduce the honor of Da Vinci. No matter how gratitude these critics are to confront the laughing and unfairly comment, they, though still discriminate ever lasting valuable things enthusiastically for those who laugh at them, should not be add on such treatment. They deserve great respect and honor, even greater than those who initially create the art. In the field of art, no critics, no values.

用词造句，语法，修辞。这些属于文字功夫。至于逻辑思维和分析判断能力，因人而异！所以暂不谈！多改改别人的文章或多看看他人的修改比自己写一篇作文收获大多了！:)
