1. 在考虑这个问题之前，我们先思考一下选择的含义，即什么样的行为可以称之为选择 。
2. 由于选择实际上是一种行为的提前判断结果，所以在实际生活中，每个人都有机会去选择，世界上选择的饿真空是不存在或者是很少的。如：吃饭，穿衣，上学，看电影，睡觉。活动。
3. 有些人们抱怨自己没有选择权，表面看来很可信，实际分析是因为他在做出该选择之前已经将自己的选择范围缩小了。例如：学生读的专业和就业。一个人的爱好和他从事的工作。个人的人生目标和自己的努力程度等等都可以导致选择范围的缩小，但决不是没有选择了，而是让他最满意的选择已经不存在了，因为他放弃了可以预见的未来即将面临的这种选择。
4.随着社会文明的进步和民主程度的发展，人们面临的选择机会不是少了，而是更多了。如：想看一部电影，可以选择去电影院，或择待在家里看电视，或者上网在线看，当然也可以下载下来慢慢看。总之，选择权利是越来越多。但是我们要注意老子的一句话：福既是祸，祸即是福。如果我们迷失于茫茫飘荡有万千选择小舟的大海中，找不到我们登陆的彼岸和方向，我们将面临一个尴尬的境地：既无法作出选择。这难道不比没有选择更让我们悲哀吗？所以，把握目前我们拥有的选择，作出更好的判断，才是上上策！一句话：只选适合的，不选最好的。

I fundamentally agree with the speaker’s assertion that the absence of choice is a rare circumstance. people always have to face kinds of choices in their lives, of which absence of choices is caused just because they blind to understand there are another choice hidden behind for kinds of reasons ,and they should consider every choice at all around to draw a best fitting determination.


To illustrate my view points, let us first think about the essence of choice.What kind of actions could be called a choice?There might be various of anwsers accorrding to people’s age, sex, educational background and other complex factors.However, behaviourism would reveal that a choice is just an foreseeable decision from previous behaviour. Draw a figure of speech, the choice is like a child who was already been pregnant, after the baby was born,the choice was simultaneously decided.

As choice is just an foreseeable decision from previous behaviour, everyone of us in reality does have this pregnant decision as far as he is still in existence.Common sense declare that humans have free will,and therefore the absence of choice is a rare circumstance. For example, many people always tend to get up in the morning and go to sleep at night because they set a goal for the daytime and left it vacant in the dark.This plan is just a choice based on early experience.Besides, when do we have breakfast,or dress up ourselves,or go to school,or do some sports initially obeys our pregnant decision, in another saying-our choice.

However, many people often complain that reality’s circumstance leaves them with “no choice” or very rare choice.At first blush, it sounds plausible, but through logical analyse, we can find that the reason only lies in the remain space being left for this choice is little or vanlished. For instance, a primary school student can be expected to become a scientist, a writer, or a dancer, even become all of the figures in the society because there is much space left for occupying. Nevertheless, with the growing of this child, he may go further study in a advanced school.Then he who choose to enter into a vocational school will probably beome a worker in the future, while he who choose to enter into a university can choose either humanity or science as his major which might determine his vocation in the future. So the more specilized the students’ maior, the more narrow his job touches. As a similar, one’s personal interest compared with his career, or the hard extent of working compared with one’s aim of life all lead to the reduce range of choice.But it does not mean that there is “no choice”,in fact, only the most attractive choice or contented choice is unavilable.So the reasonable explanation for the top phenomenon is that people have given up other choices that can be predict to exist in the future.

Finally,with the progress of social civilization and development of democratic extent, it is not that we have no choice but too many choices to select confuse us.For example, if someone wants to watch a film, perhaps he chooses to go to the cinema, or perhaps he would rather stay at home and watch TV, or perhaps he chooses to get on the net and watch in the mean-time, and so on. In short, the chances of choice is increasing all the times.But we must remember every medal has its reverse.Assuming we could not determine the destine of landing among thousands of “choice”-boats floating at a vast sea, we will actually face an awkward position, that is not no choice but no way to choose. Does that scenary cannot be more sorrowful than “no choice”? Thus, It is important for us not to choose the best one but the most suitable one when we face these choices.

To sum up, the absence of choice is a rare circumstance. People should always emphasize every present and hiden choice through carefully consideration instead of complaining,  then balance two kind of choices and make a wise and suitable choice for more opportunities in the future for ourselves.(687)
