William Shakespeare, for instance, are always remembered for his great masters, which dealt with many unsolved problems like racial discrimination. However, many of such works often spring from a special society, like a society with revolution, movement or wars. Great musician Beethoven, made his compositions by the inspiration from that unsteady society, from people’s pursuit of freedom, right, love of nature and the like. Thus most of his compositions carry with compassionate and vigorous feelings which can cause resonance among people. Another example is Nuxun, one of the most notable and influential writer in the recent decades of China. His pen is regarded to be sharper than any knife or gun, for his literature works had aroused Chinese people to fight against the old unjust government and struggle for their own rights. From this point of view, some experts assume that the power of art may surpass that of religion in their effects on people’s ideology

However, not all the works of art are pursuing social aspects, even when we examine some masterpieces from the history. Take Mona Lisa Smile for example. This painting is excellent and well-know just because, apart from the great painting techniques, in "her" smile lies a mysterious puzzle that render people curious. Some guess that she smiles because she got pregnant; then others argue that it is just the opposite. Whatever situation, however, it is that permanent secret as well as the painter's vivid expression in painting that makes this works long-lastingly favored and valued.

On the other hand, in the present day, some forms of arts, if we can categorize them into arts, are just for pleasure and amusement' sake other than social or personal aspects. Popular songs, which are regarded by musicians as vulgar tunes, are even prevailing over classical music in the market. Soft and sweet songs can provide us a sense of pleasure and help us drive away the sense of boredom, misery, or even anger to some extent; while modern rock-and-roll music provoke excitement, enthusiasm and vigor. With the development of TV programs, the art of light, costume, and makeup, all provide for people sensuous enjoyment. In addition, the design of modern structures and house decoration server people the same way.


To sum up, apart from the social concerns, the function of the arts lies in many aspects. With our standard of life rising and the lifestyle changing, forms of arts may be broadened to more fields with their function changes and varies, but in the end serve our life.

先说说你的段落，正文你的提纲是3段，而结果写的是2段。事实上你的2，3两点合成了正文的第二段。这倒不是个大问题，但是一个段落2个意群，会造成阅读者的混淆。
再有，我个人感觉第2点与文章的关系不是很大，而且放在文中也有些牵强，尤其是你还花了相当笔墨在上面。强烈建议换个说法，修改此段，会更有力度！
因此造成第三点来论证你的力度不够。
结构和论点还是很清晰可辨的！行文总体也比较流畅，比我强多了，值得我学习！
