[题目]
Issue154：Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.

[翻译]
家长和社区都必须参与到地方学校的教育事务中去。教育的至关重要性决定了它不能只依靠专业的教育工作者。

[出现频率]
0506G，0510G共出现52次，0606G目前出现2次，共计54次。

[题目分析]
题目包含了一层因果关系和一个判断句。因为教育太重要，不能只依靠专业的教育工作者，所以家长和社区都必须参与到地方学校的教育事物中。后一句给出了前一句的原因。再看后一句，是对教育及其专业工作者关系的判断，is是信号词。

1．判断句：Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.
写成反对的意见，（虽然教育很重要，）教育可以完全交付给专业的教育工作者。这样写，完全颠覆了题目所给的因果关系。站在完全反对的立场，论点比较难处理好，solely唯一这一点很难表现。可以写成Professional educators接受的专业训练和过往积累的经验能够很好的帮助一个学生学习和成长。注意，写成全反的意见，即a能够独立做好某事，正文中要避免直接写b，c不能做好某事，家长和社区的问题就不要谈。

赞成这一句，理由就有很多了。所谓的professional educators,指老师，教育机构，教育组织这些人。他们的明显优势就是专业知识，技巧和经验。相对的，专业教育者所给予的教育往往缺乏针对性，不能让每个学生的潜能得到最大发挥；或者具有局限性，比如重知识而轻道德。其次，学生和专业教育者接触的时间比较有限，脱离学校的时候也需要有人指点，而充当这个角色的就是家长和社区。

2．因果关系
在赞成后一句的前提下，可以写家长和社区在教育上的优势。比如，家长更了解孩子各方面的不足，和孩子更亲密，等等。家长这方面比较好写，我就不多说了。至于社区，先看它的意思：

m-v对community的定义：1 : a unified body of individuals: as a : STATE, COMMONWEALTH (联合体，共同体) b : the people with common interests living in a particular area; broadly : the area itself *the problems of a large community* c : an interacting population of various kinds of individuals (as species) in a common location （[生]群落） d : a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society *a community of retired persons*（有共同特点或者居住在一起的一群人，养老社区） e : a group linked by a common policy （由同一个政策联系起来的团体，共产党= =+） f : a body of persons or nations having a common history or common social, economic, and political interests *the international community* （历史，社会，经济或政治利益方面相同的人构成的团体） g : a body of persons of common and especially professional interests scattered through a larger society *the academic community（特别是在专业兴趣方面相同的人构成的团体，这就是我们平时说的学术界，娱乐界，**界）
联系题目里面的local school地方学校，community在这道题目里面的意思是a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society *a community of retired persons*（社区；集体；团体；社会）。
还不明白local 和community的意思，对比issue5的题目。一个是全国的大概念，一个是局限在一个地区的小概念。

好了，社区有什么作用呢？我先想到三个问题。一，社区对学校的经济资助（很多地方的学校，运作费用来自当地纳税人的钱）。没有社区和家长的经济援助，孩子去学校接受专业教育者的教育是不可能的事。二，对于career-oriented的教育，即为工作做准备的教育来说，社区提供给学生的实践可能是专业教育工作者无法给予的。同时，社区为解决某些社会问题，建立一些特别的学校，或者要求设置特别的课程，比如，种族歧视下的黑人学校，或者犯罪高发地区，社区要求学校开设自卫课程。三，社区提供的大环境在道德教育上对学生有潜移默化的影响。一个井然有秩的社区，和为芝麻绿豆大打出手的团体，对孩子的影响肯定是不同的。社工定期组织学生去养老院，福利之家的地方帮忙，培养学生尊老爱幼的道德品质。这里还可以强调社会舆论的监督作用，等等。

虽然题目中提到了家长和社区两个概念，但是我们写这两个问题的比重可以不一样。社区要提，但是具体写多少，要结合我们自己的需要。有些人对社区这个概念几笔带过，大篇幅谈家长，也是可以的。

也可以从另外一个角度审视这层因果关系：家长和社区必须参与地方学校的教育事务，除了题目第二句给出的理由，还有没有别的原因？不过，这样写也有难度，上面分析中提到的提供经济援助是一个思路。

鬼子的教育资料三：家长和社会在教育中的作用
适用题目：154 Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.
我的理解是应该讨论学校，家长，社会在学生的教育中起到的作用，然后再衡量一下是否应该让家长和社会都参与到教育中。
