剩下没几天了，练习。重新捡起来，发现时间是个大问题。明天开始列高频提纲。到了最后发现作文竟然是个大问题。崩溃。

TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."

Socialization of children is of vital importance in the contemporary era. With the function to regulate the conformity inside society and also establish the virtues and norms inside it, how children are socialized today largely contributes the development of a society in future, though this factor alone is not able to solely determine the destiny of society. Other significant factors should also be taken into account to lead the sustainable development of a society, such as histories background, politics, innovatives and so forth. To achieve the expected goal in which the positive influence of socialization can be maximized while negative one can be diminished, we human being still have a long way to go in how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

To begin with, socialization can be interpreted as the main way to regulate the conformity from the perspective of political and government leaders in order to inevitably decide the stability of a society. On one hand, just as the theory describing how to get the maximum value in economy realm, conformity can produce the best benefit as a whole in society. With the same level of cultivatation and awareness of regulations, the government can get the easiest way for controlling people in the society. This is one of the reasons that pandemic education is compulsory in almost all the developed countries. On the other hand, to create the fear that the people who obey laws or other regulations would be punished during children socialization can gradually diminish the violence intentions as age groups grow. Thus, analyzing the motivation of  socializing children in the political aspect can partly explain the relationship between socialization and society stability.

Moreover, the norms and virtues in a society can be gradually established by socializing children. Obviously children will learn from their peers and tutors in their social activities, even maybe just as simple as school courses or game playing. In this process, respecting others, cooperations and responsiblities for their own activities, can be well presented and educated, and then children are easily prone to establish their manner as educated to work as a useful society member in future. In contrast, if they can be told that lieing, rediculing others, being selfish in groups would be wrong, they can also learn the ability to shape their own characters avoiding these backsides later on.  Over and over the accumulation in the socializing, human virtues and moral norms can be passed along, and thus a good interaction between the elements of society can be reached. As a result, the society can be positively affected with the positive and honorable strength within the today children.

Nonetheless, though important, socializing children is not able to solely determine the destiny of society. Firstly, socializing in children, same with most of issues, has its own backsides such as stimulating the peer pressue within children, and creating the chance to imitating the shortcomings of others. More important, the destiny of society which can be interpreted as vitality and healthy in general opinion is also heavily contrigent on the innovation ability, political system of the society. One can imagine, if a Hilter dictatorial government is rebuilt up, though with the best socializing inside the children in this country, the result would be that, all the children in the country would learn the wried thought about invasion and wars. And aslo, without the concept to innovate in science, art and technology, society will be enmeshed with the plagiarizing and imitating along with the socializing in children.

Today, although in education realm, schools, parents and society itself, have conducted a lot of measures to take care of children's socializing, together with the more complicated situation, shortcomings still exist and continue to emerge in different ways. Campus shooting cases are typically an example to illustrate one of the disadvantages of socializing - inimating. And in the fierce competition inside the intense studying of school, many children are suffered with mental issues, which is another problem brought out by socializing. Indeed, children, too young to successfully conqure all the pressures from other components of a group, should be correctly instructed to face these problems in socializing.

To sum up, it's incomplete to draw the conclusion that only socializing children today determine the destiny of society. But as an effective way to lead the society with regualtions and moral norms, we still need do more to fortify the socializing of children, with the all-around considerations.

社会化的定义
Socialization, process by which people, especially children, learn acceptable and unacceptable behaviors for a given environment.
As they move in different social worlds, older children begin to grasp the informal rules for each setting and manage themselves accordingly. Children act differently at home and in the classroom, for example, calibrating their behavior to the expectations of others in each setting. They also learn to manage their emotions in social settings, looking undisturbed in the face of a peer’s taunting and laughing appropriately at a teacher’s joke. Social understanding develops in other ways also, as older children perceive family members, friends, and others as psychologically complex beings with their own emotions, motives, and perspectives.

Peer relationships： Children create a smaller circle of close friends and are more upset when friendships end. Friendships also coalesce into larger peer groups or clubs with their own norms for dress, vocabulary, hair style, activities, and behavior. These norms distinguish those who are included (and excluded) from the group and create strong pressures on group members to conform. At the same time, such groups can help children build self-esteem and social skills.

老外所谓的孩子社会化：
Socializing in middle childhood requires considerable social understanding and self-awareness, especially when conflict occurs. Older children can negotiate, bargain, cajole, compromise, and redirect conflict—such as through humor—in ways that reflect developing psychological understanding and social maturity. Not all children are so successful, however, and some become rejected by peers because of their aggressive, confrontational behavior. Developmental researchers have found that peers rejected for aggressiveness are impulsive and deficient in social problem-solving skills, often misinterpreting casual social encounters as hostile and considering few alternatives to reacting confrontationally. They also develop negative reputations. A rejected child’s lack of acceptance can, unfortunately, foreshadow long-term social difficulties if these problems are not remedied in childhood.通过这些资料我们可以知道老外说的社会化是指儿童与同龄人的交流interaction，对环境的适应和学习等等的行为。

Parents remain central in the expanding social world of middle childhood. Although it is common to view peers as replacing parents in importance to older children, parents continue to support their children’s self-esteem, define and reinforce values, promote academic success, enable participation in neighborhood and community activities, and offer a sensitive ear and perceptive judgment. They are reliable cheerleaders as their children face the challenges of middle childhood and adolescence

With the function to regulate the conformity inside society and also gradually instruct children’s social behavior, how children are socialized today largely contributes to the development of a society in future, though it is overestimated to “determine” the destiny of society in my opinion. To achieve the expected goal in which the positive influence of socialization can be maximized while negative one can be diminished, we adults still have a long way to go in how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

To begin with, socialization works as the main way to regulate the conformity from the perspective of political and government leaders in order to strength the stability of a society. On one hand, just as the theory describing same shares of marketing usually can generate the maximum value as a whole in economy realm, conformity of society can produce the best benefit in social management. With the same level of cultivation and public awareness of regulations, social interaction goes more smoothly. On the other hand, norms and virtues inside society can be educated and indoctrinated to children in the process of socializing, thus these thoughts can gradually grow inside children. Education, as the most important term of children socializing, apparently strengths social unity and more importantly weaken violence intentions. This is one of the reasons that pandemic education is compulsory in almost all the developed countries. And in countries with relatively lower education level, there is normally higher issue with society stability.

Moreover, socializing of the children can instruct themselves to cultivate better characteristic, resulting mutual communication, team work spirit and compromising skills, so as to generate a harmonious atmosphere of future society. Children will learn from their peers and tutors in their social activities, even maybe just as simple as school courses or game playing, such as respecting others, cooperating and taking responsibilities for their own activities. These activities help shape the manners of children. On the contrary, cheating, ridicule others or mocking, being selfish in groups would be proved to be not welcome by the peers and tutors, then to some extent the backsides inside human nature can be diminished and avoided.  In socializing, a child can grow up as a positive, outgoing, beneficial element of society. As a result, the society can be positively affected by individuals who compose society.

However, besides socializing of children plays, there are also other important factors to mutually interact and thus determine the destiny of society, which can be interpreted as vitality and healthy in general opinion.  Political stand and innovation ability of society can work in this topic. One can imagine, if the Hilter dictatorial government is rebuilt up, though with the best socializing inside the children in this country, only the wried thought about invasion and wars can be learned by children. And also, without the concept to innovate in science, art and technology, society will be enmeshed with the plagiarizing and copying along with the socializing in children.

Today, undoubtedly we have achieved a lot in socializing children, but some backsides of socializing still exist, thus there is still a long way for people to go and take actions. Firstly, children are not mature enough to clearly identify if the activities of their peers are correct or not, but simply imitating as a venture can lead severe results.  Campus shooting cases are typically an example to illustrate one of the disadvantages of socializing - blind imitating. Secondly, socializing can also occasionally stimulate the peer pressure within children when fierce competition exists in a group, many children are suffered with mental issues, which is another problem brought out by socializing. Though these cases are only unusual, people still need pay attention to avoid these sorts of disadvantages of socializing.

To sum up, it's incomplete to draw the conclusion that only socializing children today determine the destiny of society. But as an effective way to lead the society with regulations and develop children’s behavior, we still need fortify the socializing of children, with the all-around considerations.
