It is always enjoyable to watch a wonderful performance. Some people prefer to attend a live one where he may feel more realistic and have more mutual communication with the actor or actress while other people enjoy watching the event on television by which he could save the cost for the tickets. With all aspects carefully considered, I would prefer the former.
Although watching performance on TV can save the cost of tickets, a really good performance definitely worths it.
I still remember in 2001, when Chinese football team were taking part in the qualification of 2002 Koreanjapan worldcup. Tens of thousands of fans rushed for limited tickets, they believed that those competition were really special because Chinese team got the best chance to enter the Final Stage which should not be missed, although they could just stayed at home and watch TV.
In a live performance, I can enjoy the performance more freely. You may have the experience that while you're watching a exciting performance but the angle that the TV gives is really limited, where you can not see the whole. However, while you are in a live auditorium or concert, you can see every aspects of the performance. This can not be achieved if you were sitting before the TV.
Finally, attending a live performance, I would be able to make do many mutual communication with the actor or even make friends with the people who share the same love for this show. It is an amazing moment that all the audience sing together with the actor, which leads me cry. However, if I were watching that from TV, I probably can not have the same emotion.
To sum up, it's really worthy to spend some money to attend a live performance. You can realse your emotion, have communications with the actor, audience and enjoy the performace more.
