人的意见，开了清华RA工作证明，以在清华工作两年的
身份隐瞒了，还开了老板的supporting letter，可谓材料多多.排的是456号，下午1点

走上窗口，等待。
VO:Give me the yellow card.
ME：Here you are.

VO: Have you earned your B.S in USTB at Materials Science?
ME: Yes( With happy smile) 这么简单的问，我都不用想哦
VO: So you have also earned your M.S in BUAA at Materials Science?
ME:Yes.(HEHE, too easy question)
VO: And you are working as a research assistant in Tsinghua University?
ME:Yes(都不用我自己说，太Simple的问题了)
正在得意中，VO发难了：
VO: How much is your salary?
ME: About three thousands RMB yuan.
VO: OK, After graduation,where do you want to go?
ME: Oh, I will come back to china, and find a faculty position in Tsinghua

m: ok, I strongly believe China will have much more
   opportunities years later because China is under a
   financial reform. Besides, I already have a strong social
   network in China, it's the determinant factor for my future
   career development. all these will let me succedd in a
   relatively short period of time. I don't think it is wise
   to give up all these and stay in USA alone.
v: en, then why you study phd in USA but not in Chinese university,
   like, Tsinghua?
m: obviously, USA has the best phd program in the world,
  especially in the field of economics. economics is just an underdeveloped

   major here, if I want to get a down-to-earth touch of
   western economics, I need to go USA to study.  What's more,
   the policy makers of China are highly influenced by
   economists return from western countries, especially USA.
   if I can get a phd degree from riverside, I will have a
   strong back-up research experiences to succeed in China.

     当秃头向我诡异的笑的时候，我感觉他是要放我了，所以后面回答

说到防守，那很明显，就是在遇到了你没有能够事先准备好的问题，同时也没有能够
采取积极有效的进攻策略的时候所采取的有效的防御的方法。
这里必须提到几点：
1.      你的心理素质应该是稳定的。
2.      你得听力是过关的，因为VO说的英语应该很标准，不过没有听懂不要紧，Pardo

n
一下，千万不要硬着头皮乱回答。
3.      遇到自己事前想过，但是始终是拿不定主意的回答，比如说退学签证一事是否

该
诚实等问题，可以自己采取多种策略，事前估计采取任何一种策略所面凌的机会与风
险，然后将收益与风险相比，得到的就是股票里面的投资收益比了，呵呵，这里饺子
给大家提到这点是因为饺子最近突然喜欢上研究这个东西了，如果你有兴趣可以和饺
子探讨哦：）闲话少说，继续回来。
4.      有时候，坦诚可以赢取别人的理解，有时候whitelie能够让别人不那么的产生

抵
触情绪，所以在回答的时候应该灵活的把握分寸，不仅仅是对签证，对待生活中遇到
的问题也应该如此。

进入美国总领事馆，交了材料，领到号码108，心中窃喜，数字也很吉利。

Me: Definitely not
VO惊奇的抬头看我
Me: I am a faculty member in Physics Department at Fudan, and I instruct
"General Physics" for non-physics major undergraduate.

VO: what kind of faculty? lecturer, assistant professor, or professor.
Me: Lecturer. When I graduated as a master student last July, I became
a lecturer.
VO: ok, why do you want to study for a Ph. D.?
Me: To understand the mechanism and phyisical character of complex fluid
further. I have done experiments in this specialty for over a year, and
I found that a solid theoretical academic background is essential for
researchers.
VO: would you like to explain what is complex fluid?
Me: complex fluid is a kind of condensed matter, include liquid crystal,

Me: I have two kinds of plan, one is traditional, one is modern.

签证虽然是你被面试，但是很显然，如果我们能够将这种面试转换为一种朋友之间的
交流，或者转化为以你为中心的谈话，那么很明显，你想不要签证都不行。试想想看
我们生活中遇到的一些场景，比如找工作面是的时候，面试官也经常会抓住一个我们
弱点而拼命的往那个地方砖下去，这你不要怪别人，因为这样的交流中你已经处于劣
势，处于被动，因为你对你的回答没有底，确切的说就是这样，所以饺子强调一点"
签证一开始就应该将主动权握在手中，而不要被牵着走，这很被动，你的机会就要小
很多。"

那么你肯定会问，我该怎么样去主导这个面试呢？其中一个很首要的原则就是你必须
对你所将要做出的回答具有一定的防御能力。很简单，举个例子，
Visa Officer会问你: which university will you go ?
多么简单的一个问题，你难道真的以为VO不识字吗？你的I20上清晰的写这你要去的
学校，你要读的专业，你要读的年限，他会浪费他的时间在上面吗？显然不是，这是
为了开始他的谈话，缓和以下你的紧张情绪，是他们nice的地方。OK,说到这里，你
应该意识到饺子要说什么了吧？是的，这是他们给你的机会，既然有了机会，你就应
该立刻利用其这样的机会将话题引入到你主导的谈话当中去， 这就是饺子提倡的"陷
阱"理论。何谓陷阱？莫急，让我们看看你可以做些什么事情还有你都有些什么机会
使用陷阱理论吧。
签证的开始，很简单，你得走上前去，这个时候你是第一次和VO 亲密接触，你的第
一次机会来了，说个"hello"的同时，你可以做很多事情，可以主动提问，主动聊天
等，如我同学一上来就很好的把自己的additional materials先递过去，避免被动。

接下来开始的就是你们的对话了，通常情况下VO 会保持沉默十秒中写一些你的资料
，进行纪录，这是你的第二次机会的开始，你可以主动的进行提问。如果你没有遇到
这样的机会，或者你放弃了这样的机会，也没有关系，后面机会还多着呢，别担心。
你总要回答问题的吧呵呵，好的每一个提问都会成为你的机会。Try your best to
make it, you will and you can!

你接着在每个问题你都有机会设置你自己的陷阱，把话题引过来
经典问题之我见:
1 so you would go to ****** university?
Yeah, i would go there because AAAAAA
如果不出意外VO会问你的because AAAAAA的，此为陷阱1,为什么他会问你AAA,这个问
题不要问饺子，因为这是个人的兴趣爱好问题，人总是有一种本能想去探究未知的问
题，尤其是那些他们尚且不明白的问题。
2 why you choose 888888 univ?
888888又是你发挥了，其实还是陷阱1。
3 what will you do after you get ph.d ?
加入你自己的想法，如
m1: I'll come back to China and find a position in CCCCC（one of the
   best universities in China. ）
m2:Oh, I will go on to pursue a Ph.D. degree. And after that, I will come
back to (Sichuan Province, my hometown.)
v: to do what?
s: I will go to Sichuan University, and be a professor at the International
Center of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language there.
M3: me: though I get the firm basic knowledge in my undergraduate study(他
不提，没敢说自己是fudan的，回想起来真是委琐)， I want to get more advanced
and specialized techonology in the field of ..to (fulfil my professional
dream )
大家注意看上面一套经典对话组体，打括号的地方都是你可以设置陷阱的地方。以上
打括号的都为成功设置的圈套，这些都是你可以事先准备好的，一些VO不熟悉的短语
。比如interpersonal communication , developing management,developing economic


花花一堆，反正他也不懂，哈哈。正是因为他不懂，而你懂，所以你就可以主导这样
的谈话，要么他不问题，一旦问你，Visa Officer就玩完。但是千万记住，不是什么
名词都可以随意去唬VO的，首先，你得了解这些知识，其次这些知识不要涉及最高的
科技尖端国防领域。比如毒药，化学战剂，航天飞机，遥感卫星，激光器，克隆人等
，切记！

目前出现的108问，个人觉得实在是没有一点点的必要去看，那样反而使你失去准备
的中心所在-要知道，美国等待的是优秀的留学人员，只要你能够证明你是优秀的，
那么你就是能够通过签证官考核的。
准备签证的时候始终要牢记一点："那就是你是优秀的，你去美国学习的目的是明确
的，而你有足够的证据证明你所学的是对社会的发展，对你的发展是有用的。"请注
意发展这个词，不是指谋生或者维持生计，是指一种高层次的追求。所以你在回答问
题的时候不许记住始终以你为中心，以你所学的东西位中心，举个例子，VO问你要学
的是什么专业：很明显，他这个问题需要考察你两个内容，其一，你所学的是否是社
会需要的，第二，你是否对自己学习的目的非常的明确，因此此问题后很容易立刻派
生出其衍生问题，那就是，你能不能告诉我一些关于你专业的东西，或者你有没有一
些相关的论文，这些问题的解答都是能够充分（至少在一瞬间）是可以证明你的动机

is much easier to find an academic position in China than in the States.

　　If so, I will turn to my second choice. I would like to find a research
position in our government. You know, there are some research centers in

About 10 thousand RMB yuan per month.

As far as I know, many professors in Tsinghua University earn 10 thousand
RM B per month. You know, the salary of professors is rising now.

(23) Can you explain why 90% Chinese students didn't come back?
Really? If really so, I think everyone has its own reasons. But as far as
I know, these years, more and more students have chosen to come back after
graduation. As to me, I'll definitely come back. I'll take care of my
parents
, and I think it's much easier to find an academic position in China than

(24) Can you promise that you will not be attracted?
Yes, and that's sure. China is my motherland.
　
(25) Why do you like your major?
I love problem driven research. I like to spend a considerable amount of
time working on problems in Supply Chains Management.
　
(26) Why do you choose US but not Canada or Germany?
Because the United States has the most advanced technology and science in
the world. I would like to persue a PhD degree in the United States but

?

　　学生签证只能在开学报到前90天之内提出申请，
领事馆不能在开学90天之前签发学生签证。
通常每年6-9月份都是领事馆签证业务及学生签证申请件的高峰期，
若是赴美留学，申请人要尽早办理申请。

　　H、L、K、O、P、Q、R类签证申请者必须具备
美国移民局I-797批准通知书，
领事馆才能受理其签证申请，
该类签证某些地区领事馆要求申请者预先预约。
除以上签证类之外的签证，
申请人可直接向领事馆办理申请手续。

　　在每逢放长假后的第一天，
领馆签证处可能面临比较大的工作量，
通常不是申请签证的最佳时机，
最好能提早或推迟。在美国人的大假节前后，
例如圣诞节，因为领事馆部分工作人员要提前放假回国，
在馆的工作人员会减少、工作量相对增加，
领事官会面对更多的申请人，
处理签证的工作速度必须加快，
根本没有更多时间听申请人的解释，对申请人十分不利。
是否美国的签证官在签证的时候总是会故意刁难我们，或者是不给予我们签证确实是
因为我们有很严重的移名倾向呢？ 回答是"No"。 因为VO也是人，他们也是有感情的
，他们的职责就是需要在面试的时候能够说服自己能够让站在他对面的这个人通过，
设身置地得想一下，如果你是签证官，你会想都不想就把对面的这个人拒绝掉吗？要

是她们试面试官，而我们是被面试的人。所以对于美国领事馆明确的刁难学生的看法
是站不住脚的，饺子认为那是非常正常的一种行为，因为你得帮助签证官说服她自己
，你是优秀的，而事实上你确实是当代中国同龄人中最优秀的精英！下面引用美国签
证官自己的叙述：
        第一种误解：获得美国学生签证十分的困难甚至是不可能，几乎所有的申请者

都遭
到了拒签。至少从我的观点来看，这是种错误的看法。目前至少有5万4千名中国学生
在美国的学院和大学中读书。设想若是每个人都遭到拒签，怎么会有5万余的中国人
在美国留学呢。事实上在美留学的中国人比任何一个其它国家的在美留学生都多。中
国留学生的数目要超过日本人、印度人、英国人或德国人等等。事实上，去年，美国
驻华使馆的五个办事处共签发了24，000份赴美的学生签证或交流学者签证．我们所
批准的签证的数目要远远超过拒签的数目，所以请打消这种误解--获得美国学生签证
难于上青天。你只需要遵循我们的办事程序、需要是一个合格的申请者。
请注意最后的一个形容词，合格的，用英语来描述应该是: qualified! 大家应该多
认识这个词，因为等待我们的将会是下一年度的qualification J

好了，相信看完这么一些饺子精心总结的VISA 面试理论加实战，你应该
对面食有了很完整的理解了，接下来，不用我说，开始上路吧: )
上路也要打点行装嘛，okey,做最后的准备：

1、仪表：这是极其重要的一点，不要以为老美不重仪表，其实美国人最以貌取人，

    所以，绝对不能穿背心和短裤，除非牛的不得了，或签不签无所谓。男生深色短袖

衬
衣+西裤+皮鞋+蓝或灰色的袜子，领带不要系，因为天实在太热，寄领带会让签证官子
觉得有故作姿态感。签证时站直，手最好不要放在台子上，更不能趴在台上。　应届
毕业的女生可以穿 T-shirt和牛仔裤，也可以穿连衣裙，颜色浅一些显得比较清爽干
净。签证的大厅里有空调，如果等的时间长可能会有点凉，别穿没有袖子的衣服，而
且除了适合穿晚礼服的场合外，其他正式场合穿无袖的衣服有点不formal。 年轻的
女孩刚从大学出来，也没有必要化妆，主要是头一天晚上睡好觉，早上清清爽爽的去
就好了。如果是工作过的girl， 打扮的成熟和更职业一点更好。总之，根据自己的
条件和身份，穿一件平时喜欢的衣服去吧。
　  2、自信：紧张是不可避免，但说话一定要特别大声，没听清一定要大声Pardon
    ，不用说Sorry什么的，可以大胆批评环境嘈杂和喇叭不好。
    3、make voice confuse in your MAJOR!!!大胆谈专业，越深越好，不要怕签证官

    听不懂，美国人最重视和尊敬拥有专业知识技能的人才。

★ 本案例失败的地方在于---
   他学得是吉他，而又要推广爵士乐， 并且强调在美国他不能获得成功
这说明该申请者不具备音乐家该有得自信与底气，去美国完全是出于
娱乐心态。 这样得人是不符合美国对人才的需求的。

同时发现资金花费过大，没有奖学金，更能认为该生完全是出于娱乐性质，
否定其理论研究倾向。故句。
  
基本情况:转到一个与以前专业完全无关的专业继续念本科.
因为学校不给新生全奖,奖学金有限,需要经济支持
出乎意料vo根本没问我转专业的问题.
