Issue130: How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learnt how to raise children who can bring a better future.
提纲：
1，        青少年代表着社会的未来。
2，        青少年是否社会化影响社会的未来。
3，        但是青少年还有很多其它品质同样起着至关重要的作用。
4，        我们的教育已经为孩子们提供了很好的参与社会的途径。

Just as the author claimed that children are representative of our society’s future and how children are socialized today would also be an important which affects future society to some extent. However, besides socialization many other characters would also play a pivotal role in the process of making a better society. Thus, in this case, our education system should provide opportunities for children to achieve  all kinds of useful abilities not only socialization.

There is no doubt that the destiny of society will be in the charge of children today. After all,  these children  will become backbones in all fields of society. Our scientists, governors, professors, journalists and so forth will all retire and be replaced by these children. As a result, to a great extent, children represent our society’s destiny.

Of course, socialization involving communication and understanding is a significant ability for children. Usually, socialization is defined by experts as the ability of learning a culture and how to live in it. It is true that children should be able to adapt to the culture and then they could make contributions to it. Consider, if a person frequently complains about society and could not get along well with people around him, how could he do his own job well and make society better?

Actually, a variety of other characters in children would have an influence on society’s destiny. For instance, harmonious society is attributed to its members’ honesty, on the contrary, disordered society results from its members distrust each other. Kindness, perseverance, hard-working, and altruism would bring a better society while jealousness, laziness and selfishness would make the world like a hell.

Based on the foregoing discussion, we can draw a conclusion that characters of children today determine the destiny of society and our education system should provide children more opportunities for our children to develop these abilities and cultivate good characters in them.

In contemporary society, most of schools give children more time to take part in after-school activities than before. Schools always encourage children to participate in camps where they could meet more different people and do everything all by themselves. There are many other organizations for children to develop their abilities such as music club, school choir, students union and so forth.

Admittedly, we must also emphasis on knowledge. The saying that knowledge is power would never be cast doubt on. Social construction depends on knowledge. For example, farmers should submit to scientific methods to get a big harvest, newable resources should be discovered or invented by chemists in event of resources dying out, and buildings, houses and gyms should be designed by architects. Materials in every corner of the world are produced by intelligence and knowledge.
Since many organizations are set up in schools, children have to avoid being involved in too many activities to get enough time for their study. Choosing good activities which render them more capable is also significant for children.

To sum up, no human being could survive forever and thus children will be leading actors in future stage. According to our children, we can see society’s destiny. We all have the right to expect a better society, because of our excellent education.
