issue还是刚刚上手的，写的很生。经常在这里潜水，没改过别人的文章因为不会改。。。不过还是勇敢拿出自己的东西才可以进步吧。。
感觉很难找到深刻的观点什么的，用词也很简单，似乎还沉醉在六级中，，，，，不知道这样行不行。愿求详解或狠拍，我会努力进步然后，礼尚往来嗒～

“To be an effective leader, a public official must maintain the highest ethical and moral standards.”

Whether our official must maintain the highest ethical and moral standards differs from time to time, and it depends on their career and position. But one thing is sure, ethical and moral is essential if they want to make a long term success, no matter you are a businessman or politician.

Let’s take businessman for example first. In modern society, successful businessmen are more like a symbol of competence or intelligence, thus make self character of ethic more significant. The CEO of big companies like Google or Sina, is always invited to address somewhere in university or on the TV show. When they were talking about experience, there was one thing in common, that was to won others trust. Cooperation is extremely important in business. To be a leader, you have to be not only capable but also have your high ethical standard which can make other people trust in you and willing to follow your step. They must have their own charming such as honest, brave, intelligence and the highest ethical standards. And all of these characters become the spirit of leadership. People admire you and make efforts together with you thus make your group bigger and stronger and has the strength to get to the top in business.

While businessman is the sample of fortune, then politician represent the image of a city or maybe even a country. Their moral standard represents a city’s moral standard, because they are the judger of people. In primary school, teachers take the responsibility to prevent a fight and carry out punishment. They teach kids what’s right and bring them into moral class. In society, officials execute the job. But conflicts in a society are not as simple as in school. These conflicts are far more complex and require our official’s standard of moral in higher level. If they are amoral or even immoral, and they don’t encourage the wrongs and punish the good, then people will ultimately follow the wrong judgment and lose their moral sense. When serious events happen, politician’s moral standard have more effect. Let’s date back to several years ago; when SARS burst out, many politician officials went to the dangerous areas to direct the cure in locale which make the situation controlled more quickly. Those officials could sit in their office and made command by phone. But they were not. Their ethical heart didn’t allow them doing so and finally they saved lives and win people’s respect.

One may success for one time, without sense of ethic, but not for long. Nixon did famous in one time but the Watergate conspiracy brought down, for the break in event was against the moral standard. Some official got high position for one time, but ultimately in prison because of bribe. Companies without take consumers’ profits at first place and whose products have low quality may earn money at first, but shut down sooner or later.

Now our society is an esthetical society. And any act against it will never get support. Officials, as the leader of our society, especially in the most important part, political and business area, should have the highest ethical and moral standards to conduct their responsibilities better and to make better career profits, make better society.
