Success is more than just what brings about more money; it is a means to realize self-worth,as well as a path leading to be respected, which promises to offer us opportunities to fulfill more dreams. While numerous young people emphasize the significance of outstanding appearance for success, I am inclined to support the view tha tgood ideas played an irreplaceable and decisive role in success.

First, in a long run, good idea,which is initiative and practicable, rather than a set of elegant suit, enablepeople gain others’ inclination, so that to build the foundation of success. As business competition become more drastically, companies are attempting to produce more creative products or provide a novel service, since hardly can consumers be attracted by goods devoid of uniqueness. Bill Gates, one of therichest human in the world, is a typical example that can back the view above.Although in casual clothing all the time, he earned the trust from his customers in his early years because of his revolutionary work -- Windows system. Good ideas would rather be considered as what brings about much more profit and market share than as a brilliant thought. So to speak, success rests more on one’s mind instead of their dresses or looking that cannot represent the spiritual core of a man.

Even more impressive is the advantage that, a good idea or plan in academic and daily life may help people save time, money, make it possible to achieve success more efficiently. For example, Mr. Li Jun, one of my English professors, created aspecial means to comprehend English passages faster when he was in middleschool-- to abstract topic sentences of every paragraph firstly and analysistheir inner connections. The method, which seems too simple and likely to bedisregarded by people, was utilized by my professor for several years, helped him gained so high score in university admission exam as to be enrolled by thebest university in China. Not only can a scientific plan and idea offers a more convenient way to handle our academic study and daily life, but it also provides us a shortcut opens into success.

To draw a fair picture, I must point out that decent dresses and neat looking also benefit us to some extent. For example, correct dresses, especially for graduate student who will engage in a job interview, help to give better first impression to interviewers. Otherwise, the students may be affected adversely since they might be considered as a person lacks the sense of judgment. However, after balancing all the pros and cons, it's safe to say that good idea plays a more critical part in success.

In conclusion, I’d like to restate my point that pretty appearance is unable to compare with good idea in the path lead to succeed. Of course, if one possesses good idea, also understands how to dress decently; I believe he/her would be closer to success.
