最近看了几篇关于ARGUE的技术分析。
总觉得自己存在很多误区。思维也被模板和新东方束缚了。
今天决定别想那么多的写，
希望大家帮忙看看这样的ARGUE符合ETS的评分标准么。

A recent study of household electric costs in Claria found that families who cooled their houses with fans alone spent more on electricity than did families using air conditioners alone for cooling. However, those households that reported using both fans and air conditioners spent less on electricity than those households that used either fans or air conditioners alone. Thus, the citizens of Claria should follow the study's recommendation and use both air conditioners and fans in order to save money on electricity.

The argument above offered a recommendation to the citizens of Claria to save money on electricity given the rising costs of electricity in that nation. This recommendation is based on a recent study investigating the relationship between electricity consumption and cooling method. Two assumptions under this argument can be identified as unwarranted, rendering this recommendation as a ineffective one.
First assumption, which manifested in both the study and the recommendation itself, is that the electric costs of household in the nation of Claria is merely determined by the cost of cooling devices air conditioners and fans alone. The arguer did not provide any evidence showing that household electric costs is significantly affected, even determined by the spending on cooling their houses. Common sense is that we have way too many electronic appliances at home and it is unreasonable to preclude other energy-consuming electronic appliances like computers and television. Even their consumed electricity per hour might be less than air conditioner or fans, given their high frequency and long time of usage at a household, it is entire possible that they are responsible for a considerable proportion of the energy consumption at each household. The study overlooked this fact so that it could not be cited to substantiate the recommendation.
Further, the second consumption based on this one is that all household in Claria have the same average temperature and electricity price. The study did not differentiate between different areas which have divergent electricity price and weather temperature. It is mentioned in the argument that the country has a wide geographic difference. Based on this, we can infer that this geographic difference will result in different temperatures in summer. Some areas might not even hot enough that neither fan nor air conditioner is needed while others have a higher temperatures that they have to keep on the air conditioner all day. Also, it is expected that according to economic reasons like how many power plants offer electricity, a price gap might reasonably exists. Without further information provided, this recommendation is not convincing enough.
In summary, the arguer could make this recommendation more applicable to the citizens of Claria if the various sources of electricity consumption and geographic differences are taken into consideration.
