I do not agree with the speaker that tradition and modernization are incompatible . In my view ,both them are the culture of a country,and sometimes modernization is the improvement of the tradition, which reveals the advancement of the country's technology and science,and therefore humans should combine them rather than choose between them.

On the one hand , modernization is the essential goal to which all the countries in the world strive . Consider what is the modernization? It is the magnified intensity of the electronic, global and high speed technology and science coverage, by which we can transform the money from one country to any other country in the world just in a matter of seconds,by which we can get the international information concerning all the aspects no matter where and when it happens. Obviously, modernization symbolizes the level of a country citizen's life condition.


However, it is of great difficulties for us to give up the tradition ,from which we can identify a race or a country. Tradition is an experience, a history ,let alone a culture. Though we are living in a modernized life , but it can not be denied that tradition is the fundamental structure of modernization,existing a complicated correlations between them,for that modernization presents the distinct beliefs, rituals, spirits, emotions and other definitions of the
tradition,and therefore tradition is related to the modernization.

In sum,it is better for us to combine the modernization and tradition,because both of them are the core of a culture.
