104.It is primarily through formal education that a culture tries to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears.

现在大脑一片模糊,完全不知道自己在写什么,可能写着写着就跑题了,我已经神志不清了。而且,超级短。这是1分作文的范例。哭,失败的作品。小黑辛苦了。
A culture is a union of ideas, customs and forms of thinking among what have something in common.
The development and heritage of a culture depend on absorbing new ideas which will be helpful to carrying forward customs and reforming old forms of thinking. The ability that can distinguishing whether a new idea is
benefit of development or not is crucial in the process of culture development.The way to get this ability is formal education. That is to say, it is the formal education that assists the culture in distinguishing the benefit from the harmful, not the culture itself that filters the ideas by formal education on its own initiative. The benefits that the formal education brings to culture are appeared on three aspects.


Firstly, the goal that popularizing the existing culture around the nation can be achieved through formal education. In the process of formal education, the answers to some central questions- what the culture means, how the culture evolved and where the heart of the culture in-can become definite gradually. If we want to find a lip fix to a bottle, we should firstly be clear of the top of the bottle’s shape. Only when the people know what the culture is, can they understand which idea is the culture development need. This function of formal education is the fundamental of searching ideas the culture favors.

Secondly, the other function of formal education is helping people establish true worldview and instrumental values which will make people know what is the true or false. When some organizations seek to instill a passive idea into public’s mind, the true worldview and instrumental values will protect from influences.This is the core content of the influence the formal education makes on the culture.   When a negative concept comes in front of us, hidden in a beautiful appearance, the instrumental values will be the touchstone.

Thirdly, formal education can help people conclude a feasible methodology to filter the ideas. We are now face to an information overflowed world, massive information rushes out every day. Instead of receiving the ideas passively, get touch with new ideas actively, than absorb the nutrient from these new ideas through the methodology. The methodology is the policy of the direction where the culture develops to.

In sum, the formal education is necessary to culture’s development and heritage. Without formal education, the nation will lose the root, deviate from course or submerge into the river of cultures.
