In modern society, technology and society are developing rapidly due to new technologies. Owing to those reasons, competition among our generation is becoming fierce, thus we are bound to make many crucial decisions through our life and each decision will play a significant role in success. In consequence, the importance of making a decision with greatest benefit has stood out. Someone believes that most people prefer having other people make decisions for them rather than making decisions by themselves. Nonetheless, as far as I am concerned, don’t agree with this statement as I believe making decisions by themselves can bring out more advantages.
To begin with, it is manifest that no one can understand more about us than ourselves, thus we can choose the most suitable direction for ourselves. However, when other people make decisions for us, even they are some professors in their field, they cannot choose the proper one for us attributing to the reason that they are not familiar with us or just see the surface not the deepest part of us. Cite my experience as an example. When I graduated from high school, I choose my college major by myself. As I know what I am do well in and interested in, I choose accounting as my major. In contrast, my roommate, whose major is chosen by her mother, lives a very tough life as she is not good at math and hate learning math at all but now she still need to study it .Her mother chooses this subject for her as she thinks this major will put her daughter in a favorable position in future job market without taking her daughter’s advantages and interest into consideration. Our society abounds with these examples.

Furthermore, from the view of effectiveness, we still need to choose by ourselves. To make it precise, it is evidently that we are the most familiar people with ourselves in the world, therefore when we analyze situations and find the method to deal with some problems about ourselves, we can directly come to the point. It will save us a lot of time and energy owing to that we don't need to collect the data about ourselves as they are just in our mind. On the contrary, if other people making decisions for us, the first step they need to take is to collect the data about ourselves which will cost a large amount of time and energy. A vivid example can be found when students are choosing their majors in university. Most parents will take them to some agents to obtain some opinions from some professors in this field. It is obviously that students need to fill in some questionnaires about themselves firstly before the professors giving them some perspectives. Differently, when we pick up some majors for ourselves can skip the step –filling in blankets, which will save so much time.

Judging from all evidences above, we may safely arrive at a conclusion that people prefer making decisions by themselves as the advantages far outweigh than the other.

Recently, an E-voting on which invention is more effective to humankind in the 21th century is held by a famous website. As a consequence, a debate on choosing television or telephone has sparked a heated discussion. Someone who advocates for television believes that it brings more convenient for people to communicate with each other. Nonetheless, as far as I am concerned, I will vote for television as it can provide a method for people to relax and obtain the latest information around the world.

To begin with, there is no denying that it has been a convention for most people watching television at home after dinner and they have already regarded it as a way of relaxation. According to the survey which is conducted by CSSI (Chinese Society and Science Institution), almost 75.6%of people tend to stay at home to watch television after dinner. When taking money and time into consideration, it is no doubt that watching television at home is the most effective way to relax as if we go to the movie theater or other places, it will cost us much more money including the transportation fees and  tickets and time we spend on the road. In contrast, most of time the reason why people make phone calls is they need to talk about some issues especially on working or business. In consequence, delivering bad news through phone calls will add pressure to modern people. A vivid example can be seen from my older brother, as he made some mistakes when filling the blankets, his boss criticized him through the phone. Moreover televisions also provide people with a chance to stay with their families while telephones will tamper the chance that people can communicate with each other face-to -face.

Furthermore, television offers modern people a method to know more about the world they live in. It is manifest that with television, we can know the latest news quickly though it happened thousands of miles from us. Cite my own experience as an example. I like to travel especially to some places which I have never been to and these places are often far away from my hometown. In terms of money and time, I cannot afford to go there. However, I can "visit” there by my television to see sceneries, special food, and places of interest there which is cheaper and more convenient. What's more, news on the television is checked by many people, the reliability of them is guaranteed. On the contrary, through the telephone we just can know only one person's opinion which we even don't know whether it is true or not.

Admittedly, telephones can also lead to some advantages such as contributing to a convenient life. With telephones, it will reduce a large amount of time when we exchange information. In ancient time, our ancestors used pigeons and horses to exchange information which will cost at least two or more weeks. But now it will only take a few minutes

Judging from all the evidences above, we may safely arrive at a conclusion that televisions have more positive effects on human kind than telephones when we taking the function of relaxation and obtaining new information into consideration.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should live one city or in one country all their life instead of moving to live in different places.

According to the local newspaper, a survey about moving to other places draws a lot of attention from people.As a consequence,the issue of whether people should live in one city or one country all their life or not has sparked a heated discussion.Someone who advocates for this perspective believes that living in one place all their life can guarantee a relationship with other people.Nevertheless,as far as I am concerned,I deem that moving to other places can lead to more advantages as it can bring about new experience and provide an opportunity for people to have a new start.

To begin with,there is no denying that migration can contribute to new experience which will help us on our working or studying in the future.Also I believe that life should be full of adventures which can make it meaningful and colorful.When people move to  a new place,they need to get familiar with the local custom namely traditional food and different weather.All this will account for the new experience.Cite my own experience as an example.Our family moved to Yunnan province when I was at high school.When I started to living in this city,I learned a different accent and undergone a distinct culture which is quite different from my hometown's.Later in my following study,I choose to learn Chinese medicine,as this province is abundant of all kinds of Chinese medicine,it offered me a chance to watch these plants on how they grow up. Moreover,moving to other places means that you can make new friends.Maybe this migration can facilitate you to find your best friend in your life who will solve your problems  in the future. Once I need some special medicine to take an experiment at that time I cannot buy them in the university, one of my friends there just sent it to me.

Furthermore,choosing to live in different places means a new start for your life or work.Leaving the former city can assist people to forget some unhappy things.A vivid example can be found from one of my elderly sister,she broke with her boyfriends,and then she moved to other city to forget this and have a new life.What's more,maybe a new place can provide you better environmentfor working or living .In retrospect of history,many famous scientist made some breakthroughs when they move to a new place such as Einstan as it can provide them better experimental environment.Also,as we know,winter is a pretty tough season for some old people attributed to the reason that it will cause many diseases .Nowadays,it is popular for old people to live in southern areas owing to the mild climate which will play an essencial role in keeping their heath.Our surroundings are bounds with these examples.

Admittedly,living in one city all their life could contribute to some stable relationship which is very useful when you want to get some information accurately and solve some problems quickly.For instance,when you need to take an operation,you know which is the best doctor on this field.
Judging from all evidences above, we may safely draw a conclusion that compared with living in one city all their time,migration can bring more benefits to us when we are taking the new experience and new start into account.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should only play sports for fun, not in competition or contests.

As children are our hope in the future,education can always draw people's attention.Recently,there is a survey in the local newspaper on  children should only play sports for fun or in competition. As a result,this issue sparked a heated discussion.Someone who advocated for this opinion believes that if children focus on the competition,it will destroy the relationship among them.Neverhteless,as far as I am concerned,I deem that playing sports in competition can lead to more benefits owing to the current job marketing environment and motivations.

To begin with, during the economic recession, there is no denying it put many graduates into an unfavorable position in the job marketing.What’s worse ,attributing to the development of technology and increasing number of population,the competition which children need to confront will be fiercer and fiercer.It is the time that assist children to understand what environment they are living in.Playing the sports in competition is obviously a good method for children to undergo a sense of emergency which is needed for them to live in society.What's more,when children are playing sports especially in teams,with competition,children will know more about teamwork and cooperate cohesively than before as they want to won the game. A vivid example can be found from one of my friends' younger brother.After he participated in a school’s football competition,he became more active and build a better relationship with his football teammates.  
Furthmore,when it comes to contests or a competition,we will think about the award and praise which is a motivation for students to work hard.As can be seen in the figures from the survey conducted by the CISS(Chinese investigation of social and society ),it shows,with rewards and praises,almost 85.6% of children will work hard to obtain that.If children would like to spend more time on exercising this sports,they will be good at it.And the next time they will have a big chance to win the game,so they will work even harder to keep this.This is a posittive loop.WHat 'is more,one of the purposes for parents to encourage their children to play sports is that it can keep health.In consequence,when they have motivations to play it ,children will spend more time in it therefore it will also bring about some advantages fortheir physical fitness.Cite my own experience as an example,when I won the swimming competition at junior middle school,I exercised a lot than before,even untill 8P.M which is encouraged by the reward and praise just in order to win the game for the nest competition.The desire to win is so strong. Admittedly, it is obviously that playing in competition will destroy the relationship among children especial with children in other part they fight for. When playing in competition, there will be many problems between winners and losers as there always will be some children who are losers.

Judging from all the evidences above,we may safely draw a conclusion that children should play sports in contests attributed to the reason that  the advantages it lead to outweight playing just for fun,when we are taking the current environment and motivation into account.
