We have to face the fact that more and more species are extincting from the world, human activities are the major causes for that deterioration, while natural factors are only a little fraction among them. Under this concern, whether we need to do our best to save those endangered species or just consider that they are doomed to a extinguish fate? I am afraid the author's recommendation is a little bit superficial. It is our obligation and responsibility to help and save those endangered animals, and to remorse about the influence we made upon them, therefore to change our relationship with mother nature and all the animal species to build a harmonious world.

Admittedly, just as the author mentioned in the topic, there are some species have become extinct as a result of nature. The reasons why species go into extinction various, some subtle and complex, while others maybe obvious and simple. Nature force is unavoidd to cause the extinction, such as the dinosaurs and other some ancient animals. In most cases, if a specie of animal is unable to survive or reproduce in its environment, or lost the capability to move and inhabitant in another environment, dies out and becomes extinct. So there were some species that no longer fit for the survival under the force of nature.

However, this kind of extinction result from nature only cover a little fraction of all the species who died out. After the modern human activities were brought to the nature, the species are extincting at a high speed, and also suffering an increasing trend in the future. The killing of wild animals had been intense in the past, for the delicacy of their flash, the luxury beauty of their fur, and the medical uses of some of their organs. From 1600 to 1700, animal species were dying out at a speed of one per ten years, while during 1850 to 1950, the extinction of birds had increased to one specie per year. Besides, the destroy of animal inhabitant by human activity is another significant factor contributing the extinction. We torn down forest for cultivating new farm land and building new cities, we keep more sheep on the grass land that far beyond the grass' reproduction. Moreover, global warming, toxic gases, water pollution and so on also challenging the animal to run out of their inhabitant but can no longer survive in other environment.  Human beings are cruelly sacrificing the wild animals' life for the satisfaction of their own needs.

So it is so selfish and irresponsible for some people who hold the idea that  the endangered species are doomed to die out, and we have no justification to cost efforts in saving them. Every specie in the world, including human beings, are borned equal. We are living in the circle of life, and depending on one another. So protecting those animals are equal to protecting our human bobbing since we are brothers and sisters. What's more, the extinction of one specie will certainly affect the survival of some other species, no matter prayer and their pray, producer and consumer, they are mutually assistant, thus consisting the biovoriety and the stability of biology. In a word, if we failed to protecting and saving those endangered species, our human being would definately received the punishment from nature and the food chain, then we would go extinction just as those animals.

Judging from the analysis made above, I strongly believe that it is a highly worthywork for human beings to protect those endangered species, and it is not only the responsibility of the government and biologists, but also everyone who want to save himself and  live a better life.
