Just as every coin has two sides, in every realm of inquiry, beginners and experts both have advantages and disadvantages. But who is more likely to make important discoveries? The author believe that beginners have a higher possibility to make out discoveries, while in my opinion, he had ruled out some of the most significant factors in the process of research that experts are definitely superior to beginners, because of the abundant of knowledge and rich experiences.

Admittedly, beginners do have much more intense curiosity and creativities in any field of inquiry which contributing significantly to the new discoveries. Beginners, together with their courage and enthusiasm in trying new things, and sometimes ignoring the fear of failure, give powerful and fresh ideas and providing new angels in researches. Besides, most of them have a stronger motivation and energy under the thought that they are going to establish their career and fame, therefore, their perspectives are more free and limitless than experts in the same area.

However, only through such kind of enthusiasm and passion can not guarantee the uncovering of new findings and the prosperity of any field of inquiry. The primary source for the new discoveries--so at least it seems to me-- arises in experts. Firstly, experts possessing more in-depth views and more sound knowledges basement than the beginners, and that is the fundamental part of the researches and discoveries. In addition to this basic concept, the experts have a large number of experiences on hand, which beginner cannot understand from books or their previous learning.Experts have an established system of problem solving and a foresight for the future problem possibility, and they know their field well enough to see through problems and make discoveries. Mrs.   's discovery of radiation materials had a close connection together with their long-term knowledge accumulation and the very rich experiences they get from their own courses of investigation. Of course, this devoting to scientific research also provide driving force for their discovery and research.

Further more, in any field of inquiry, from natural science to social science realm, this is the case all the same. In the economy realm, only those experts who have gained an abundant of knowledge and experience can predict and hold the future development and changing tendency. And there are also in some cases, the implied discoveries are easily to be neglected by the beginners, such as a tiny evidence in the scientific research, or an unattractive valuable antique in archaeology.  To sum, experts are certainly the main source of important discoveries while greenhands may overlook the significance of something tiny, and thus lose the opportunity to make important discoveries.

Whereas, the creativity and enthusiasm in beginners, and the in-depth view  and experience in experts do not mutually exclusive. The discoveries are just standing on the creativity that based on the knowledge and experience. So if we can combine the two and call for a balance between them, the inquiry process will certainly develop in a rapidly speed.

From the analysis made above, I hold that the primary source of discoveries is the knowledge and experience of experts. And we should combine the efforts of both beginners and experts to make the development of our society.
