已经写了好几篇了,每次都是勉强400出头,怎样才能写的更多一些呢? 特发一篇以请教各版友版主,望能指出哪里存在不足,谢谢


ISSUE87 "In any field of inquiry, the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important discoveries."

Admittedly, beginner is more likely to makediscoveries than expert under some circumstance, but it cannot hold true forall the situations. Both experts and beginners have their disadvantages andadvantages in terms of making discoveries.

Usually, beginners know little about how difficult the problems they try to tackle are and they have no set thinking which may prevent them from new discovering. Also, they are not afraid to make mistakes. All these characters are beneficial for beginner to make new discoveriesin their working field. Knowing little about the difficulties of the problem can keep them from losing confidence; Absence of set thinking urge them to put forward new methods to solve the problems; They would try any feasible ways to handle problems without considering others' comments.When the great mathematician Gauss solved 17-gonconstruction problem with ruler and compasses, which was a tough problems remained unsolved for a thousandyear, he was just a beginner in mathematics. Later he said( and I paraphrase):If I had known that problem was sodifficult, I might not have solved it. This illustrates that fear of theproblems may prevent people from solving it.

In the other hand, experts master moreknowledge and have more experiences than beginners. Also, they know clearlywhat is tough and what is already solved. When experts are faced with problems,they have many methods to analyze question andfind what is the key to solve it. According to what they have learned, they could avoid meaningless attempts and concentrate their energy on trying those more likely methods and thus they could save a lotof time and be more likely to make new discoveries. Besides, many new discoveries will not emerge out of void and most of discoveries are found based on existing knowledge.

However, everything has too sides andadvantages would also be disadvantages under some circumstances. Beginners maywaste their time on some impossible methods in spite that they know little about what could be done and experts may lose the opportunities to make new discoveries owing to the possible methods was ruledout by set thinking.

In sum, both beginners and experts havetheir advantages and disadvantages in terms of making discoveries. It will bemore beneficial to make discoveries if we combine the advantages of beginnersand experts together. Experts should jump out their set thing and try to act asa beginner; beginner should consult experts more and learn more knowledge tohelp them classify and analyze problems.
