提纲：
1.占星等非主流的东西不能绝对实际问题，无法满足人类需要，因此作用不大
2.但是由于时代的局限，许多非主流的东西也许是对的，并且能够解决一些问题，只是当时的人们无法正确认知。
3.及时非主流的东西不能满足人类的实际需要，它仍然对人类社会有很大的作用，因为人们相信并且喜欢它。
Do the non-mainstream areas of inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling, and psychic and paranormal pursuits can play a vital role in the society? Some people hold negative attitude toward it, due to those non-mainstream areas are considered to be irrational. However, the speaker puts forward that they do play crucial effect to the society, for the reason that those areas can satisfy human needs that are not addressed by mainstream science. As far as I'm concerned, I show appreciation with the speaker and I'll illustrate my point from two aspects.
Admittedly, in solving problems and satisfying practical need of mankind, the areas as astrology and paranormal pursuits function not as effective as the prevailing science. While they may help people feel better about themselves, the consequences are neither tangible nor convincible to the most of us. Besides, such areas often provide us an obscure answer, which cannot be refuted or tested, thus many people consider it pseudoscience and useless. Moreover, for such areas go against the orthodox science approach sometimes, they are often rejected by the mainstream social groups.
However, it is a hasty generation mistake, if we totally repudiate all of the non-mainstream areas. In fact, it should be noticed that, in history, many mainstream science used to be regarded as heresy at first, and then gradually received by the public. For instance, when Mendel, the Augustinian priest and scientist, who gained posthumous fame as the figurehead of the genetics science, discovered the mystery of genetics from his study of heritage of traits of beans at first time, he was considered to be a heretic. Since his discoveries went against with the widely accepted religions, he was rejected by the mainstream in that era. It is not until 20th century, did his unique opinion, which set up a new scientific field and deeply effluence the human society, gradually become accepted by the public. Thus, we shouldn't distain any non-mainstream areas indiscreetly, they may turn to be mainstreams someday and play key roles in the society.
To say the least, even if the non-mainstream areas cannot satisfy human needs, they may still show great impact to our society. Firstly, taking Hong Kong as an example, even today, Feng Shui, which is considered to be a superstitious power, still show significant effect to Hong Kong citizens. In detail, they use it for healing purposes or to guide their businesses and create a peaceful atmosphere in their homes. In 2005, even Disney acknowledged Feng Shui as an important part of Chinese culture by shifting the main gate to Hong Kong Disneyland by twelve degrees in their building plants, in an effort to incorporate local culture into the theme park. Secondly, there are just so many people who are interested in astrology or fortune-telling. Instead of ignoring this phenomenon, we should set more focus to this specific area, due to the huge effect it brought to our society.
In conclusion, whether scientific nor not, such non-mainstream areas do have significant impact to our human society, thus they should not be ignored by the mainstream social groups.

还有我觉得正文第二段里最后they may turn to be mainstreams someday and play key roles in the society貌似用turn out to be要好些
turn to be感觉是有些人把这个转换、改变掉了，但实际上是因为这些东西原本就是正确的，只是一时没被人们意识到。而且你的这句话里的两个分句没有连接词，应该写because they may turn out to be mainstreams someday and...
还有同样是这一段里，第二句，and then gradually received by the public里面的receive用的不对，还是应该用accept。可能LZ是觉得换一个单词比较好，但是receive只表示客观上的某个物品的接收，不能表现主观意识上的承认认可，如果不用accept的话，用recognize也比receive好

另外LZ在首段里的论点是show appreciation with the speaker 但是从正文来看，其实对于题目的态度是大正小负，就是说你还是有部分是不同意的，这就是你正文第一段的内容。既然你花了整整一段的内容来反驳题目的观点，说非主流的不能满足实际的需求，在首段立论的时候就应该写though I don't agree with the speaker about some parts of the conclusion这一类的句子，LZ写的show appreciation with the speaker感觉上是完全同意题目的观点了。
建议LZ采取这样的论点，非主流的东西确实是play a vital role in society，但它们如此重要的原因并不仅仅是因为satisfy human needs that are not addressed by ...，实际上，有的时候它们并不能解决某些实际问题。
最后，正文第三段的内容跟你提纲里列的似乎不太一致。你在这一段中只是写了非主流对社会有重大影响，举了个disney的例子(我觉得这例子很好)，但没有深入去分析为啥有影响，就像你提纲里说的，人们喜欢并且相信它们。我觉得那个disney的例子你可以多说两句，为什么要把大门的角度改了，因为如果不改的话，人们会认为这个地方不吉利就不愿意来了。这样这个影响就显而易见了，人们的想法能够左右你生意上的成功。我觉得这一段里那个secondly后面的写得不好，因为你还是在重复，非主流有影响，但是没有分析这个影响是怎么产生的。
其实我觉得这一段的分析可以很出彩，因为实际上，很多时候人们并不是真的相信那些迷信的占卜的东西，只是为了讨个吉利，而且往往这些东西会成为一种惯例，practice and custom。所以说，非主流可能在物质世界中不能起到什么作用，但在精神层面，却发挥了重要作用。
